The updated butler's pantry blends with the kitchen. Custom cherry cabinets feature glass inserts in the upper doors, and there's an open cabinet for liquor. The countertop has the same granite as the kitchen, and travertine tiles were used for the backsplash. There's an integrated ice maker and a built-in espresso machine. LED strip lights were used above and under the wall cabinets. LED puck lights enhance the liquor storage.

Upper level of garage turned into the ultimate man cave. With all the doors to storage rooms, there wasn't much wall space...and my client loves art. I decided to use the flat panels doors as the art and hired a mural artist to capture things that they love. You'll notice scuba diving, numbers that are of significance to them, snowmobiling, wine & good, cable lines and more that all point to their interests. Photos by Kaity

This sophisticated home bar strikes a perfect balance between function and high-end design. Open floating shelves stretch across the wall, showcasing an impressive bottle collection beneath a striking hexagon-pattern tile backsplash that climbs all the way to the ceiling. Rich, dark wood cabinets offer storage and depth, while glass-front cabinets elegantly display glassware for easy access. A large beverage fridge ensures everything stays chilled and ready. The bar is finished with a sleek gold faucet and matching water spout above the integrated sink, while open-back bar stools sit neatly at the wood-topped counter—inviting guests to gather in style.

By Monday, we wanted to surprise them with their own (stocked) Brooklyn bar. New brick walls were added and tagged with Nina Simone, vintage mint booths, a live-edge table top, custom light fixtures, and details create a chill spot. Antler bottle openers, Moroccan rugs, hat holders to display Tariq’s collection, vintage bar-ware and shakers... The collected parts are all as authentic as The Roots. “I wanted to give the Roots a real spot to feel good and hang in, not just a place to change. Popular from about 1890 through 1940, Tudor is characterized by steeply pitched roofs, massive chimneys, tall narrow casement windows and decorative half-timbering. Shingle’s hallmarks include shingled walls, an asymmetrical façade, intersecting cross gables and extensive porches. A masterpiece of wood and stone, there is nothing ordinary about Rookwood, which combines the best of both worlds. Once inside the foyer, the 3,500-square foot main level opens with a 27-foot central living room with natural fireplace. Nearby is a large kitchen featuring an extended island, hearth room and butler’s pantry with an adjacent formal dining space near the front of the house. Also featured is a sun room and spacious study, both perfect for relaxing, as well as two nearby garages that add up to almost 1,500 square foot of space. A large master suite with bath and walk-in closet which dominates the 2,700-square foot second level which also includes three additional family bedrooms, a convenient laundry and a flexible 580-square-foot bonus space. Downstairs, the lower level boasts approximately 1,000 more square feet of finished space, including a recreation room, guest suite and additional storage.
