Inspiration for a farmhouse bathroom remodel in Minneapolis

This lakefront home's kitchen draws from traditional Swedish design and style. A deep basin sink and calm color palette branch from cabinets to tile backsplash and articulate fixtures. All elements combine and bathe in the gorgeous natural light reflecting off the lake outside. Like a picture frame around a work of art, this kitchen complements, rather than competes, with the element the owners loved most: the view. Our clients desired an organic and airy look for their kitchen and living room areas. Our team began by painting the entire home a creamy white and installing all new white oak floors throughout. The former dark wood kitchen cabinets were removed to make room for the new light wood and white kitchen. The clients originally requested an "all white" kitchen, but the designer suggested bringing in light wood accents to give the kitchen some additional contrast. The wood ceiling cloud helps to anchor the space and echoes the new wood ceiling beams in the adjacent living area. To further incorporate the wood into the design, the designer framed each cabinetry wall with white oak "frames" that coordinate with the wood flooring. Woven barstools, textural throw pillows and olive trees complete the organic look. The original large fireplace stones were replaced with a linear ripple effect stone tile to add modern texture. Cozy accents and a few additional furniture pieces were added to the clients existing sectional sofa and chairs to round out the casually sophisticated space.

Laundry room - transitional gray floor laundry room idea in Miami with gray cabinets

Welcome to this sophisticated kitchen full of grey tones. The perimeter is a soft white with a grey brushstroke while the island is a rich grey with an onyx brushstoke. The contrast is subtle and beautiful. This is a 48" Wolf range and two sub zero tower refrigeration units. One a freezer one a refrigerator. Beginning this full home remodel in the kitchen, we added a cozy banquette, built-in custom cabinets, and a PentalQuartz Super White countertop for a contemporary vibe. The kitchen’s central feature is an inset bar in rich macassar ebony and Flavor Paper’s Monaco gold foil wallpaper that was formerly a fireplace.
