Davenport Maple is a new door style for 2014 shown here in our Drift Stain. Drift is a translucent stain that pays tribute to the naturalist movement that is so prevalent in today's designs. A chameleon of sorts - Drift has the ability to work well with grays, browns and greens with ease.

The kitchen was created in Lafontaine door style in Maple wood type finished in Marshmallow Cream with inset door in Maple wood type finished with custom stain. The kitchen was created with optional five-piece drawer headers. The kitchen was designed by Mike McNally of Builders Cabinet Supply and Kristin Petro of Kristin Petro Interiors, Elmhurst IL.

Although the home is in its 100th year, the owners wanted to create an updated urban style reflective of their downtown location. The new styling, while sleek and contemporary, kept a traditional feel with a paneled door styling, crystal chandeliers and an updated glass version of subway tile. We were also able to create an open kitchen with a 3’8 ½” x 7’ 5 ½” island centered on a gourmet Wolf cooking area. Heartwood included a large, deep boxed out window on the window wall to brighten up the kitchen.
