Primary bedroom detail of a new construction home in the Berkeley Hills, CA. A full-height birch plywood accent wall wraps the bed surround from floor to ceiling, functioning as both headboard and architectural feature - with flush-integrated electrical outlets and a wall-mounted matte black reading light maintaining a completely uninterrupted panel surface. Polished concrete floors and birch plywood ceiling panels extend the warm, minimal material palette throughout the room. Full-height steel-framed sliding glass door opens directly onto a lawn with mature tree views beyond a cable railing. Rear garden terraces are framed by forest and lower rain gardens, filled with native birch, willow, fern and iris. Roof drains on the residence and french drains in the lawn terrace fill the space defined by low stone walls. Cypress logs were harvested from nearby river bottoms and milled to create the bridge that connects the terraces. This Park Avenue roof deck features limestone-clad planters, patio, and a fireplace. The original brick around the fireplace was left intact and preserves a bit of the feel of old New York. Custom-built benches run along one perimeter, backed by Himalayan stem birch trees. This 1,200 square foot roof garden is also home to a lawn, a bathroom, a custom-built outdoor kitchen, and a glass sunroom with sliding doors. Within this comfortably cozy mountain retreat filled with natural light, Siemasko + Verbridge has created a space ideal for entertaining and showcasing the surrounding mountain views. Located in Sugarbush, Vermont, a refined alpine style creates a relaxed and inviting environment. Reclaimed beams and earthy materials emit a feeling of warmth throughout the condo and the fireplace, faced with local Vermont stone, is perfect for curling up in front of after outdoor adventures. The team drew inspiration from the condo’s slope-side setting, infusing the space with playful reminders of the wilderness outdoors: stag print pillows, snowflakes on the dining chairs and skiing scenes depicted on the walls as you head upstairs. Siemasko +Verbridge’s family-friendly design accommodates ample space for gear and ski storage, durable fabrics and easy-to-maintain furnishings. Coarser textiles such as antler chandeliers are balanced with softer materials like nubby pillows and knit throws providing an interesting juxtaposition of textural elements. A gorgeous, serene nursery for a baby boy was created by the concept of a rabbit motif and soft pastel colors. Birch branch blue wallpaper stands alone on the crib accent wall while the stunning metal canopy crib sits in front. An alphabet inspired wood carved dresser flanks the opposite wall with poise and passion.

The littlest member of the family loves animals and it seemed only fitting that her bedroom should be filled with woodland creatures. Our team installed hundreds of white birch wallpaper "trees, branches, and leaves". A collage of canvas artwork depicts animals while colorful drapery make the room feel cozy. An upholstered swivel chair is the perfect for reading stories and a large area rug serves a playtime central.
