Designed by Interior Designer, A. Lantz Design, this Lake Charlevoix project was featured on the cover of Traditional Home magazine! This whimsy guest bedroom suite encompasses all things sailing! An ode to lake life, custom sail boat drapery adorns the windows while a vintage sail boat lithograph art piece hangs above the iron bed. Red stripe bedding with blue and tab pillows pop on the crisp white bed sheets while a vintage quilt hangs off the bed. The wall sconces allow for more room on the navy blue wicker side tables and the room is anchored by a beautiful, cozy navy and cream striped rug.

Navy blue grass cloth and navy painted blue trim wraps the master bedroom. A crystal chain chandelier is a dramatic focal point. The tufted upholstered headboard and black stained wood with blackened stainless steel frame was custom made for the space. Navy diamond quilted bedding and light gray sheeting top the bed. Greek key accented bedside chests are topped with large selenite table lamps. A bright nickel sunburst mirror tops the bed. Abstract watery fabric drapery panels accent the windows and patio doors. An original piece of artwork highlighted with a picture light hangs above a small brass bench dressed in the drapery fabric.

A hip young family moving from Boston tackled an enormous makeover of an antique colonial revival home in downtown Larchmont. The kitchen area was quite spacious but benefitted from a small bump out for a banquette and additional windows. Navy blue island and tall cabinetry matched to Benjamin Moore’s Van Deusen blue is balanced by crisp white (Benjamin Moore’s Chantilly Lace) cabinetry on the perimeter. The mid-century inspired suspended fireplace adds warmth and style to the kitchen. A tile covered range hood blends the ventilation into the walls. Brushed brass hardware by Lewis Dolan in a contemporary T-bar shape offer clean lines in a warm metallic tone. White Marble countertops on the perimeter are balanced by white quartz composite on the island. Kitchen design and custom cabinetry by Studio Dearborn. Countertops by Rye Marble. This master bedroom features a neutral wall color called Tumbled Stone, accented with navy blue. Pendant lights frame the bed, and the large blue area rug adds warmth to the wood floor.

Bedroom in downtown loft with NO windows! This was the challenge Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson faced when beginning this Denver Loft Remodel. Rebecca began by identifying the focal-point wall and addressing the overall dark feel of the room. She painted 3 walls a soft grey and one wall a dark navy blue. Rebecca applied her creative genius to the space by hanging nine beveled mirrors on the dark wall above the bed as a clever way to fool the eye into thinking the mirrors were windows. To further indulge the concept, Rebecca added crisp white linen panels to mimic window treatments on either side. This design idea created a dramatic symmetrical backdrop for the Bedroom furniture... A spectacular oversized blue and white rug (Aja Rugs) sets a perfect foundation for the queen size bed with two oversize nightstands in crisp white, the Bedroom was complete. We love the bold navy blue bed and the roman valance design. This is a masculine design for our client who wanted a bedroom that reflects his personality.

Project SilverOaks' earthy kitchen brings colour into the kitchen to break up the space with its navy-blue panelled island. What could have been standard kitchen island corners was taken to the next level by bringing in curves and open shelving! The rounded kitchen island corners and countertop brings softness to the kitchen space and maximizes functionality. The kitchen island’s ‘corner’ open shelving allows for a personal touch by being able to display décor, cookbooks, or even a family picture!
