1/2" black felt was cut in 14" lengths with a round bump that gave us an undulating pattern across the room in the space between the ceiling and floor.
This provided sound proofing qualities in an artful way.
This is an installation never before attempted by Zintra and MDC.

The home creates a balance between modern architectural design and the incredible scenery surrounding it by preserving much of the natural landscape and taking advantage of natural sunlight and air flow.
Plans were drawn using passive house principles – showing a continuous insulation layer with appropriate thicknesses for the Montana climate around the entire conditioned space to minimize heat loss during winters and heat gain during summers. Overhangs and other shading devices allow the low winter sun into the building and keep the high summer sun out.
Glo European Windows A7 series was carefully selected for the Elk Ridge Passive House because of their High Solar Heat Gain Coefficient which allows the home to absorb free solar heat, and a low U-value to retain this heat once the sun sets.
The A7 windows were an excellent choice for durability and the ability to remain resilient in the harsh winter climate. Glo’s European hardware ensures smooth operation for fresh air and ventilation. The A7 windows from Glo were an easy choice for the Elk Ridge Passive House project.

Black walls set off the room's cream furnishings and gold accents. Touches of pink add personality; the pink ceiling medallion adds emphasis to the elegant chandelier. Highlighting the tall windows, black painted frames add graphic interest against the cream sills. Drapery emphasizes the ceiling height while absorbing sound and adding warmth. A huge custom rug unifies the seating and working areas and further contributes to the hushed atmosphere.
A pair of cushy swivel chairs serves multiple functions – facing a loveseat and bench to create a cozy seating area, facing each other for intimate discussions, and facing the desk for more standard business meetings.

The Carrier 342813-75105 Evap Coil Replacement Kit is an essential component for any split system air conditioner or heat pump. This is in charge of removing moisture and heat from the air within your house so that you can stay cool and comfortable throughout the summer. By pulling warm, humid air through its fins and tubes, the evaporator coil generates heat. A refrigerant inside the coil absorbs heat, forcing the air to cool and condense moisture onto the fins of the coil. The air handler device then distributes this cold, dehumidified air throughout your house. Lower indoor air quality, higher energy expenses, and decreased efficacy can all be caused by a defective evaporator coil.

Granite countertops can last a lifetime. It contains no harmful chemicals and do not emit harmful radiation or gasses. Granite is heat resistant and is one of the most heat-resistant countertops on the market. You can place a hot pan out of the oven directly onto the countertop surface. Experts do recommend the use of a trivet when using appliances that emit heat for long periods of time, such as crockpots. Since the material is so dense, there is a small possibility heating one area of the top and not the entire thing, could cause the countertop to crack.
Granite is scratch resistant. You can cut on it, but it will dull your knives! Granite scores a seven on Moh’s hardness scale.
Granite countertops are considered to be a low maintenance countertop surface. The likelihood of needing to be repaired or resurfaced is low. Granite is a porous material. Most fabricators will apply a sealer to granite countertops before they are installed which will protect them from absorbing liquids too quickly. Many sealers last more than 10 years before needing to be reapplied. When they do need to be reapplied, it is something that most homeowners can do on their own as the process is similar to cleaning. Darker granites are very dense and sometimes don’t even require a sealer.
When it comes to pricing, there are a lot of variables such as edge profile, total square footage, backsplash, etc. Don’t be fooled by the stereotype that all granite is expensive. Lower-range granites will cost less than high-range laminate. Though granite countertops are not considered “low range” in pricing, there are a lot of affordable options.
If you are looking for something truly unique, consider an exotic granite. Some quarries are not easily accessible and/or only able to be quarried for short periods of time throughout the year. If these circumstances exist in a quarry with gorgeous stone, the price will be driven upward.
You won’t find a lot of solid patterns or bright colors, but both do exist. Also, watch for a large range of color and pattern within the same color of stone. It’s always a good idea to view the exact slab(s) that will be fabricated for your kitchen to make sure they are what you expected to see from the sample. Another factor is that many exotic types of granite have huge flowing waves, and a small sample will not be an accurate representation of the whole slab.
Granite countertops are very resistant to chemicals. Acids and bases will not harm the material.

Homesteads are about function as much as beauty, and button bush delivers on both fronts. Its willingness to grow in wet areas makes it perfect for landscape spots that other plants avoid. Those damp corners aren’t wasted space when you plant button bush — they become intentional, lively parts of your yard.
The shrub’s dense form also doubles as a natural screen or border. Planted in groups, button bush makes a soft edge against lawns, gardens, or pathways. Its rounded shape and textured blooms maintain structure without feeling overly formal. That’s especially nice in landscapes that lean toward natural design.
But function doesn’t end there. In wetter areas, button bush helps reduce erosion and standing water. Its roots absorb moisture and give soil something to cling to, which makes it a practical choice in drainage swales or near water features. Pollinators and wildlife find value here too — that’s an added bonus that makes landscapes feel balanced and alive.
If your homestead includes gardens, fields, or natural plantings, button bush fits right in. It holds space well, supports life, and brings seasonal interest without demanding constant care — qualities that make it a smart, functional choice.

This project started as a kitchen remodel but evolved into a partial redesign and home refresh. Both interiors and exteriors were reimagined to update this traditional Spanish home into a transitional retreat.
The common area floorplan was redesigned to absorb the previously underutilized formal spaces into everyday areas. A large walk-in pantry was added while the kitchen flows from the family room to the dining area, with sightlines from the front and back of the home.
Architectural elements such as ceiling details and the central staircase were redesigned to fit the home's original character while still feeling updated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were revitalized upstairs with all-new finishes, making the entire home feel fresh and new.
An overall neutral color scheme means this home will remain timeless and continue to serve this family for years to come. Simple elegance defines this home. It's the perfect mix of subtle details, ornate craftsmanship, and contemporary elegance.

New construction and original landscaping completed in 2010. Original design had boulders between the driveway and home to minimize the stop and create curb appeal. An assortment of unusual trees (lions head maple, moon rise maple, hinokie cypress, twisted baby locus, and paper bark maple and others) were installed to compliment the home on the naturally wooded lot. Many different perennials and flowering shrubs were installed between these unique specimen trees to provide interest throughout the year.
Phase 2 was initiated by the homeowner in 2016 were we landscaped the backyard, which was overgrown with wild trees. It was cleared to create a more useable space and play area for children. Our design team created a master landscape plan and was an integral part with the approval process with the municipality. We worked in tandem with an engineering firm to design and install a bio-retention pond. The pond was designed to take all of the runoff from the newly landscaped backyard. Wet loving plants were incorporated into the pond to beautify the area and absorb the water. A custom, multi-level play set was installed over artificial turf to blend with the newly expanded lawn area. An assortment of trees, shrubs and perennial were installed on the hillside separating the upper yard and newly expanded lower area. Low voltage landscape lighting was expanded to highlight the new plantings and provide light for the children to play in the evening. Our landscape design complimented he newly installed covered outdoor living space.

What was originally a small commission to redesign a master bath slowly expanded into a much greater scope, encompassing multiple redesign projects throughout the home, totaling 3,000 sq. ft., all executed with emblematic care and detailing. In the redesign of the 3rd floor master bath, an adjacent closet was absorbed adding crucial space to the layout which allowed for a clean and symmetrical new organization. A freestanding tub is the feature in the space sitting on a continuous stretch of brush textured tile which pulls the eye back and up the far wall. Behind the tub, a clear glass sheet tucks away the curbless shower and wall hung lavatory allowing the space to remain open. On the opposite wall, a custom walnut vanity and mirror sit over wood flooring continued from the adjacent bedroom. The bath entry is marked with new storage and a small sitting area.
On the 2nd level, the existing living room was refinished with new lighting, a stunning fireplace, and refinished floors while a new bench-stair was created, connecting the existing dinging area to the living room while expanding areas for sitting and lounging. On the ground floor, a new guest suite was created with a feature wall to hide a TV and display art and books. A new opening was created to the rear garden, bringing in soothing views and eastern light through a retractable glass door system. The brushed white oak floors keep the space feeling cool and airy. In the adjacent guest bath, the custom walnut vanity mixes with a calming palate of green glass, white ceramic and brushed nickel fixtures.

This beautiful master bathroom gives not only visual pleasure but a complete bathing experience. The air jet bathtub has a heated seat, back and neck, also with a drop of oil over a heated element the oils are absorbed directly through the skin. The custom designed cabinetry has a beauty and strength to it as well as providing plenty of storage.

Our clients small two bedroom home was in a very popular and desirably located area of south Edmonton just off of Whyte Ave. The main floor was very partitioned and not suited for the clients' lifestyle and entertaining. They needed more functionality with a better and larger front entry and more storage/utility options. The exising living room, kitchen, and nook needed to be reconfigured to be more open and accommodating for larger gatherings. They also wanted a large garage in the back. They were interest in creating a Chelsea Market New Your City feel in their new great room. The 2nd bedroom was absorbed into a larger front entry with loads of storage options and the master bedroom was enlarged along with its closet. The existing bathroom was updated. The walls dividing the kitchen, nook, and living room were removed and a great room created. The result was fantastic and more functional living space for this young couple along with a larger and more functional garage.

PureZEO Pro is recommended for any installation. It is 100% Zeolite which is safe for both the environment and your pets.

Triplex Doors are important part of the interior. And it is crucial to be attentive while choosing one. Each of us is guided by our own tastes and preferences while selecting a door for the rooms of our apartment (or for our home). You can choose simple wooden door or door with a glass. And if you have decided to buy door with a glass, the best choice is triplex door. Triplex glass is a several layer glass, which is made with the help ofpressing while heating. There are different variations of triplex, for example, there are types of glass, which are soundproof or have electric heating, etc. Triplex is produced with a special technique: in between two glass a specific membrane is placed, after which they are being glued at a certain pressure and temperature. Triplex doors are famous for their strength and long lasting operational term. The protective function of these doors is that they absorb ultraviolet lights, but at the same time let in a normal daylight. They don't require an extraordinary care. All these characteristics make doors with triplex convenient for usage. Doors with triplex glass can be applied in various ways. With the help of diverse designs and saturated colors, they will be perfect for bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom. It is possible to choose not only transparent but also frosted glass.
