Creating a space that combined the warmth of an older home with the features and materials of today was the task for the designer on this project located on Cape Cod. The designer used Mouser Cabinetry with a beaded face frame and the Stratford inset door style in white throughout the kitchen. Wood beams are the focal point and draw the eye to the vaulted ceiling. The Lighting in this great room is layered in many different ways. From the trimless square accent lights in the wood above the dining table, to the uplights and cable lights integrated into the trusses the architectural lighting becomes one with the architecture. This mountain modern bedroom furnished by the Aspen Interior Designer team at Aspen Design Room seems to flow effortlessly into the mountain landscape beyond the walls of windows that envelope the space. The warmth form the built in fireplace creates an elegant contrast to the snowy landscape beyond. While the hide headboard and storage bench add to the wild Rocky Mountain atmosphere, the deep black and gray tones give the space its modern feel.
