The colors and textures make this master bedroom perfect for both him and her. The dramatic black bed frame with leather insert headboard makes a statement and includes valuable storage with underbed drawers. The matching night stands adorn the sides of this magnificent bed. Two side chairs with pink pillows are the accent for this large room and the added canvas artwork transitions the colors from blacks to purples to a hint of pink. Shutters allow light to brighten the room and the quatrefoil rug with a touch of brown highlights the wood flooring. Accessorized with glass lamps and the comfy bedding, the elegant and glamorous look is complete.

This little guy was growing out of his crib and changing table and needed an update to his room. His parents are avid golfers and he in turn has picked up the sport. His parents requested a room that he can grow in to, so the space will last many years before having to redesign it again. His mom suggested a golf theme room and I loved the idea, so we rolled with it. We kept the original plantation shutters and millwork and built a toddler-friendly space he can enjoy for years and years. I had my muralist paint an argyle wall to set the tone. I used new custom furniture combined with some store bought pieces. Accessorizing the space was a fun task. Instead of using store bought items, I had some custom wall art made for him to personalize the space. I had his great grandmother’s golf clubs mounted onto graphic green and white fabric studded with chrome nailheads. An Etsy seller made us a custom metal piece with all their favorite golf brands. Another Etsy seller made us wall hooks fashioned from golf balls. No golf theme room would be complete without a putting green, so had one of those thrown in to so he can practice his putts. He now loves his new room and enjoys spending time in there (not to mention now sleeping in there too!).

Our Austin studio furnished the living room, dining room, and primary suite in this spacious, family-friendly home. Our clients have two children and wanted a home that is fun and functional. We furnished the living room with large sofas in subtle hues and accessorized the seating with colorful, printed pillows and cushions. The sofas are complemented with sleek chairs, a practical center table, and a printed rug that completes the look. We turned the fireplace into an accent wall with glass shelving and cabinets on either side. The dining room flaunts a simple round table with modern angular chairs, and the statement piece here is the chandelier. The palette in the bedroom is light and fresh with pastel linen, wood side tables, and glass lamps. We added mirrors behind the lamps for a unique look, and an intricate white chandelier adds the finishing touch.

The island in this kitchen was designed to follow the line of the room, maintaining clearances and maximizing cabinet and counter space. Complete with bar sink, wine and bar fridges, the island was accessorized with a pull out recycle/garbage bin, cutlery tray and more pot and pan drawers for everyday use. The island is separated into several zones with the wine fridge and single pull-out for recyclables across from the bar area in the tall storage, prep space on the end of the island across from the Monogram range top and wrapping around to the bar sink, and clean up at the end across from the dishwasher. A recessed seating area at the back of the island accommodates guests for any occasion. At the very end a raised pedestal completes the island. The pedestal is wrapped in ragged copper laminate with a circular granite top adding additional seating conducive to a more intimate gathering.

Pure glam! Kim likes glam and we provided that in this stunning office for her. The centered black desk makes a statement on its own, but the shelves on the back wall allow for all the pretty things on display. Inspirational artwork adorns the walls and combine that with the pink tufted ottomans on the pink quatrefoil run and Voila'! A glamorous Hollywood swank office it is! Accessorizing is always the fun in design and we accomplished this with the crystal lamp, tall globed candlesticks and the Las Vegas whim of the dice on the desk.

Dynamic Garage Door specializes in Tuscan Architectural beautification in the Newport Beach, CA through our custom designed and hand made architectural shutters, garden gates and garage doors. This Newport-Mesa Tuscan home was exquisitely decorated with a combination of custom gates, decorative shutters and balcony barn door style shutters all handcrafted out of authentic, century-old reclaimed barn wood specifically harvested for this custom project.
Beginning with the balcony shutters which actually slide from side to side like a real barn door we worked a charming rustic shutter design that would typically be seen in the Tuscan Riviera. We opted for sliding shutters as the balcony spacing limited the swing action of even bi-folding shutters. Incorporating real barn door hardware railing and crowing it behind the faux reclaimed wood beam made an excellent statement while adding functional shutters that can be shut close for comfort during the summer morning when the sun beats down into the master suite. The four shutter leafs are decorated with real hand forged dummy straps that were hammered and crafted by hand to achieve that gorgeous rustic charm typical of Tuscan architecture. The reclaimed barn wood from a century-old barn gives off a timeless appearance that increase in characters as the years go by. Because rustic barn wood has already aged beautifully over hundreds of years, the next century will only increase its authentically gorgeous appearance. The culmination of this project has been a meticulous collaborative input of our in-house head designer and the clients themselves. Although the completion of this project is lengthy and intricate, the results speak volumes and the wait simply justifies the outcome.
The rest of thew windows on this Tuscan home have been accessorized with rustic barn wood as well and accentuated with our custom designed and handmade dummy iron hinge straps. Our dummy hardware is so authentically done in the same tradition used for hundreds of years in Europe to create shutter hardware that looks authentic and functional although it is only decorative. The details of our custom shutters is evident in the slightest of details including the bolts used to hold the shutter straps in place. Each of the shutter also has a decorative ring pull with a hand-hammered back plate which enhances the appearance of true functional shutters and defining that authentic Tuscan look.
The beauty of this Tuscan home is visible throughout the entire property including the garden gates, garage doors and entry door. Again, for the garden gates, we went with rustic barn wood carefully crafted to preserve the original surface that has aged over hundreds of years but building the gates on galvanized steel frames that will ensure structural durability for the next few hundred years. The gates are highly secure, sound and can definitely hold back a crowd with authentic rustic charm. Don't be fooled with the simple-looking gate design. It is quite intricate with its 45 degree angle cuts around the perimeter of the trim which deviates water away from crevices that would otherwise make the gates vulnerable to the accumulation of moisture from the elements, sprinkler system or simply air humidity since the home is located near the ocean. Each one of the garden gates is equipped with European style mortise lock mechanisms and roller catches. Dynamic Garage Door gates are not your typical garden gates, they are truly made with quality and durability in mind as well as aesthetic attention to detail. Everything, from the hardware used, the core steel frame and overlay material used is hand selected and approved individually for maximum beauty and timeless appreciation.
At Dynamic Garage Door, we specialize in multiple facet projects that include garden gates, driveway gates as well as barn doors and shutters. It is very important because these are the accessories that can make or break the beauty and continuity of your home's architectural style and authenticity.
Increase your curb appeal and home value with Dynamic Garage Door's gates, shutters and automatic custom garage doors. Our in-house designers would love to speak with you today!

Accessorizing is easy when your shoes and handbags are where you can see them. Full-extension, soft-close drawers hold undergarments and sweaters. Integrated lighting ensures visibility in this custom walk-in closet in Satin Oak.

This amazing beach house was in desperate need of a refresh. Our clients had a vision of how they wanted their home to look, but didn't quite know how to get there. A complete renovation was the solution.
Our team went to work creating a classic design, including a new modern kitchen. We used a light gray shaker cabinet on the perimeter with a dark stained shaker on the island. Contrasting quartz counter tops with a drop miter edge add interest and texture. Blown glass pendant lights illuminate the island, while LED under cabinet lighting is used to create ambiance throughout the kitchen.
Custom upholstery including sofas, chairs and ottomans in warm grays, browns whites and blues create generous seating areas in the common living spaces.. A built in bench seat piled with cozy pillows lets you take in the beautiful sunsets and water views.
We love the use of reclaimed barnwood on this project. We used planks with worn crackled paint on the partition wall in the master bed room, vintage stained wood for the laundry room barndoor and thick timbers for the fireplace mantle and floating wall shelves.
Lots of salvaged coastal treasures and sea glass are used to accessorize the home and give it that little extra touch.
Our clients just loved the final result, and its certainly one of our favorites as well!

Grounded by a bold green rug, this well-appointed space now functions as "family central" for hanging out and playing games.

We removed three walls to open this kitchen up to the great room and breakfast area so the family and guests could visit while meals are being prepared. The custom cabinetry, designed by Bay Area Kitchens, was meticulously hand crafted to our exact specifications by Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry in Kreamer, PA. A medium gray stain was applied to the solid walnut 1" thick doors and drawer fronts. The cabinets were designed and accessorized to maximize storage space and convenient access, including various sizes and depths of drawers, pull-out racks, tray dividers and a heavy-duty mixer base.
Topping off the custom cabinetry are Cambria quartz countertops, plus two solid walnut countertops with "live" edges by Grothouse.
We also installed an automated LED lighting system including cabinet interior lighting, under-cabinet lighting, and LED recessed cans, all controlled by Lutron's RadioRA wireless lighting control system. All the lighting can be controlled by any of the five wall panels, or by an iPhone or iPad.
The cabinets are also equipped with an integrated stereo sound system completely concealed within the cabinets.

Intentional. Elevated. Artisanal.
With three children under the age of 5, our clients were starting to feel the confines of their Pacific Heights home when the expansive 1902 Italianate across the street went on the market. After learning the home had been recently remodeled, they jumped at the chance to purchase a move-in ready property. We worked with them to infuse the already refined, elegant living areas with subtle edginess and handcrafted details, and also helped them reimagine unused space to delight their little ones.
Elevated furnishings on the main floor complement the home’s existing high ceilings, modern brass bannisters and extensive walnut cabinetry. In the living room, sumptuous emerald upholstery on a velvet side chair balances the deep wood tones of the existing baby grand. Minimally and intentionally accessorized, the room feels formal but still retains a sharp edge—on the walls moody portraiture gets irreverent with a bold paint stroke, and on the the etagere, jagged crystals and metallic sculpture feel rugged and unapologetic. Throughout the main floor handcrafted, textured notes are everywhere—a nubby jute rug underlies inviting sofas in the family room and a half-moon mirror in the living room mixes geometric lines with flax-colored fringe.
On the home’s lower level, we repurposed an unused wine cellar into a well-stocked craft room, with a custom chalkboard, art-display area and thoughtful storage. In the adjoining space, we installed a custom climbing wall and filled the balance of the room with low sofas, plush area rugs, poufs and storage baskets, creating the perfect space for active play or a quiet reading session. The bold colors and playful attitudes apparent in these spaces are echoed upstairs in each of the children’s imaginative bedrooms.
