Summer is here! It’s time to make vacation plans for some fun in the sun by the pool! If your travels take you to Orlando, Florida, you will want to visit the newly-renovated Holiday Inn Family Suites. Their new 33,000 square feet outdoor pool area is spectacular… And we’d like to think that’s at least partially due to the recent addition of No Fault Pool Deck Surface. With intense blue coloring accented by inlaid, striped beach balls that appear to be bouncing around on the surface, this project is a treat for the eyes! If your vacation plans aren't taking you anywhere, this same No Fault Safety Surface for Waterplay is available for residential applications, transforming your home into a safe space for waterplay! No Fault’s very own Regional Sales Manager Catherine Thomas was so excited about this project that she took her family here for a weeklong vacation. Her two kids are seen here enjoying some fun in the sun, making us all quite proud of this spectacular project.

Expert lighting design was utilized throughout the indoor and outdoor space. Step lights were installed on the deck posts, deck stairs, and deck perimeter for safety, recessed spotlights on gimbals shine overhead the BBQ and table to provide task lighting while cooking and eating, outdoor sconces illuminate the entire area with a shaded bulb, and soffit uplighting provides additional overhead brightness for reading on the couch. Spotlights highlight the landscaping for evening outdoor mood lighting.

The new basement area below the sunroom has been turned into a dance studio, complete with tall, wall-to-wall mirrors and a ballet barre. The new basement is a few steps down from the existing floor level, providing the additional height required for leaps and bounds. The floor is sprung, with a hardwood surface. Natural light and safety egress for the dance studio is granted by a lightwell with a custom bulkhead door fitted out with tempered glass panels.

-Decorative Grab Bars, Custom Linen Cabinet, and Curbless Walk-In Shower- Decorative grab bars were placed in accordance to ADA regulations throughout this bathroom to provide safety, while adding to the beauty of the design. Check out this Moen toilet paper holder that doubles as a secret, secure grab bar!

The side porch sunroom was added to this Colonial house with a walk-out deck from the second floor master bedroom above. The new sunroom includes a coffee & sitting area off the kitchen, with ten six over six windows to create an open feel and that coordinate with the windows of the original house. The project involved consideration of the roof deck water proofing details, which include how to step out from the master bedroom,so that it coordinates with the ceiling height below. The deck includes a high rail for privacy, with a horizontal pattern which accommodates modern safety functions while being sympathetric to the the house style.
