This sexy loft space was designed by Ella Mathis of Susan Cohen Associates. It reflects the clients tastes in travel and honors her collections in vinettes. There is something wonderful to see in every nook and cranny. The seating is eclectic and comfy. The entire color palette is used and blended together .

The existing structure of this lake home leaned toward a mid-century remodel. Deciding what to emphasize and what to alter was the key to transporting this cottage back into the future. Everything was stained knotty pine and when the walls came down to open up the space we also lightened up with some paint. Reclaimed wood floors were hand chosen by the homeowner for this project...so when the shag carpet left, these beauties went in!

Minneapolis Interior Designer Remodel in Edina. This condo was altered from the look of sophisticated, casual Cape Code to New York Glitz. The fireplace that was once an earthy stone is now the look of gold nuggets accented with a lavender mantel and under mantel lighting on the gold leaf of the stones. It was a maple wood floor that has been sanded and stained a deep walnut. Art and color in furniture tell the story. Gold leaf chandelier add to that story.

Family room - contemporary family room idea in Seattle

Located in the heart of a 1920’s urban neighborhood, this classically designed home went through a dramatic transformation. Several updates over the years had rendered the space dated and feeling disjointed. The main level received cosmetic updates to the kitchen, dining, formal living and family room to bring the decor out of the 90’s and into the 21st century. Space from a coat closet and laundry room was reallocated to the transformation of a storage closet into a stylish powder room. Upstairs, custom cabinetry, built-ins, along with fixture and material updates revamped the look and feel of the bedrooms and bathrooms. But the most striking alterations occurred on the home’s exterior, with the addition of a 24′ x 52′ pool complete with built-in tanning shelf, programmable LED lights and bubblers as well as an elevated spa with waterfall feature. A custom pool house was added to compliment the original architecture of the main home while adding a kitchenette, changing facilities and storage space to enhance the functionality of the pool area. The landscaping received a complete overhaul and Oaks Rialto pavers were added surrounding the pool, along with a lounge space shaded by a custom-built pergola. These renovations and additions converted this residence from well-worn to a stunning, urban oasis.

Our studio reimagined this kitchen to make it suitable for entertaining family and friends. We altered the layout to an open-concept floor plan and changed the yellowish paint to a beautiful white, creating a bright, airy vibe. The elegant dark wood floors were retained, and complementary design elements were added to make the flooring pop. The stunning countertops perform a dual function as backsplash tiles, creating a harmonious ambiance in the space. We added gorgeous chairs and stylish pendants with a gold finish that adds a glamorous touch. We carved a beautiful home bar in the space with open concept shelving and charcoal black lower cabinets for storage. The star feature in this area is the backsplash tile in geometric patterns, which add a sophisticated, luxe element. ---Project completed by Wendy Langston's Everything Home interior design firm, which serves Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Westfield, Noblesville, and Indianapolis.
