This was a long narrow balcony where they wanted to maintenance at all. With narrow balconies, it's important to run boards vertically as well (away from the doors) so that the balcony looks larger. In this case, it also helps to create multiple "rooms" or "spaces" that break up the pattern and give it more life. For the zero maintenance, we put down composite (Amazon Grey) which is very popular right now with our condo clients.

The balcony was finished with Amazon Grey composite from an excellent company in Brantford, Ontario. It was laid in a staggered pattern and framed all round so that the look was clean and regular.

After Photo - PHD A large format full bodied porcelain tile was used on the outside porch and carried through into the entry and then out to the back porch. A Belgium loomed distressed looking area rug brings all the colours together. It's extremely hard wearing throughout all the season, while providing a beautiful warmth to the hard tile floor. Inspiration for a farmhouse home bar remodel in Houston

Custom Surface Solutions (www.css-tile.com) - Owner Craig Thompson (512) 966-8296. This project shows an master bath and bedroom remodel moving shower to tub area and converting shower to walki-n closet, new frameless vanities, LED mirrors, electronic toilet, and miseno plumbing fixtures and sinks. Shower is 65 x 35 using 12 x 24 porcelain travertine wall tile installed horizontally with aligned tiled and is accented with 9' x 18" herringbone glass accent stripe on the back wall. Walls and shower box are trimmed with Schluter Systems Jolly brushed nickle profile edging. Shower floor is white flat pebble tile. Shower storage consists of a custom 3-shelf shower box with herringbone glass accent. Shelving consists of two Schluter Systems Shelf-N shelves and two Schluter Systems Shelf-E corner shelves. Bathroom floor is 24 x 24 porcelain travvertine installed using aligned joint pattern. 3 1/2" floor tile wall base with Schluter Jolly brushed nickel profile edge also installed. Vanity cabinets are Dura Supreme with white gloss finish and soft-close drawers. A matching 30" x 12" over toilet cabint was installed plus a Endura electronic toilet. Plumbing consists of Misenobrushed nickel shower system with rain shower head and sliding hand-held. Vanity plumbing consists of Miseno brushed nickel single handle faucets and undermount sinks. Vanity Mirrors are Miseno LED 52 x 36 and 32 x 32. 24" barn door was installed at the bathroom entry and bedroom flooring is 7 x 24 LVP.

Our mission was to create an ocean and California lifestyle-inspired space that would invite consistent clicks, bookings and five-star reviews. To make the most of the great location, we designed Project 11 for travelling singles and couples searching for a cozy and welcoming condo within walking distance to downtown San Diego. Project 11 would also be used by our clients when it was unoccupied, so it had to be practical, functional and beautiful, too. Our clients had a limited budget, so we got thrifty and sourced furnishings from Target, Ikea, Amazon and Etsy. The oversized art prints – which set the tone for our relaxing and soothing beachy theme – were hunted down and found at Etsy of California Lifestyle. We made the most of layers, colors and texture to create spaces that conjured calming ocean vibes and felt wholeheartedly welcoming. We couldn’t repaint the walls, but they gave us a neutral color palette to work with. We built on it by adding in pops of color while maintaining a minimalist approach to understated style. Then we had some fun and added in cute touches like Cali and San Diego inspired mugs, an adorable Kerig to tie in the colors of the ocean again, a swivel chair to view the sunrise and sunset and a totally pimped-out kitchen with all the cooking accessories a guest would need to feel at home in Project 11. By the time we were done, we were tempted to scoop up the first available booking for ourselves! Dura Supreme Cabinetry The side of the island facing the range was put to full use with this large cabinet with roll outs. A great use for pot and pan storage, and, very close to the range!

This deck/patio combination creates a very modern outdoor living design. The Timber Tech low maintenance decking in Amazon Mist creates a rich aesthetic while providing a perfect area for dining and grilling. The wide angled stairs creates a smooth flow to the Belgard Paver Patio. The London Grey Lafitt pavers in the inset circle greatly compliments the gray decking. The built in ramp makes the deck easily accessible from a different entry point. This combined space is the perfect area for entertaining family and friends on a warm afternoon or chilly evening. This Timber Tech low maintenance deck and Belgard paver patio were custom designed and built by Bolingbrook, IL deck designer, Archadeck of Chicagoland.
