This Master Bathroom in Norfolk received a complete gut, expansion and renovation. Through our Design Build process these homeowners worked with in-house designer Jason Hoffman to create their dream master bathroom retreat. When designing, Jason was able to offer ideas on how to gain square footage, ultimately adding a walk-in shower. Complete with a custom double vanity and beautiful tile work by Marshall Tile & Marble Company, this has been one of our favorite transformations to date. See the before and after photos below as well as some 3D renderings approved by the homeowners prior to construction. Our team both designs the renovation AND performs the work. Our talented carpentry crew and trusted subcontractors perfectly executed a design on paper to a well laid out, oasis retreat.

This beautiful, 1,600 SF duplex three-bedroom, two-bath apartment in the heart of the West Village was originally a diamond in the rough with great potential. The coop is located on a quiet, tree-lined street and, as a top floor unit, boasts lovely southern and eastern exposures with views of this charming neighborhood overlooking the Hudson. Our clients were making a big move from the West Coast and wanted the new home to be ready in time for the start of the new school year, so Studioteka’s architecture and interior design team rolled up our sleeves and got to work! Construction documents were prepared for the coop board and NYC Department of Buildings approval and our team coordinated the renovation. The entire unit had new hardwood flooring, moldings, and doors installed, the stairs were gently refinished, and we took down a wall separating the living room from a small den on the lower level, making the living space much more open, light-filled, and inviting. The hot water heater was tucked away in an unused space under the stair landing, allowing for the creation of a new kitchen pantry with additional storage. We gut-renovated the upstairs bathroom, creating a built-in shower niche as well as a brand new Duravit tub, Mirabelle high-efficiency toilet, American Standard matte black fixtures, and a white Strasser Woodenworks vanity with black hardware. Classic white subway tile lines the walls and shower enclosure, while black and white basketweave tile is used on the floor. The matte black towel hooks, toilet roll holder, and towel rod contrast with the white wall tile, and a shower curtain with a delicate black and white pattern completes the room. Finally, new mid-century modern furnishings were combined with existing pieces to create an apartment that is both a joy to come home to and a warm, inviting urban oasis for this family of four.

This office space was converted into a stunning contemporary environment everyone would love to work in! The open loft style with new wood floors throughout gives the area a more spacious feeling. The custom Renowned cabinetry in the kitchen, ADA approved bathrooms, and wet bar provide ample storage while giving it a stylish look.

This project is a renovation and addition of a prominent historic house in Concord, Massachusetts. All of the design work was subject to the review of the Concord Historic Districts Commission to ensure the continuity of its historic character. All systems were fully modernized to current standards while the historic qualities of the house were restored and retained.

The clients of our McCollum Project approached the CRD&CO. team already under contract with a contemporary local builder. The parents of three had two requests: we don’t want builders grade materials and we don’t want a modern or contemporary home. Alison presented a vision that was immediately approved and the project took off. From tile and cabinet selections to accessories and decor, the CRD&CO. team created a transitional and current home with all the trendy touches! We can’t wait to reveal the second floor of this project!

East Bluff Remodel, Newport Beach
This was an interesting remodel of a home with a "front yard pool". We took it over from another architect to help with the design and HOA approval and I think it turned out really nice.

A traditional front porch is set off by the crisp white painted wood and pretty walkway leading up to the front door.

This mid-century bungalow in East York was re-designed by Studio7 into a modern two-story house, ensuring that the house’s original character is maintained, by preserving the brick walls while blending the elevations with modern cladding. Large windows added a contemporary feel to the overall exterior design of the house.
The cutting-edge interior concept, characterized by a monochromatic color palette, clean lines, minimalism, natural materials and natural light, created a stunningly sleek style that the client had envisioned.
The Mak 7even Renovations team took care of the construction and interior fit-out, through a transparent and seamless execution process, beginning with getting all the required permits and approvals, carefully planning out the building process, and meticulously supervising, executing and completing the construction phase.
The combination of Studio7 design aptitude and Mak 7even construction and project management expertise, lead to the successful realization of this stunning project within a 5-month timeframe.
