This recently built Bethesda home features two distinctive staircases that share a cohesive design language. The main staircase pairs natural wood treads with sleek steel horizontal rods, creating clean lines. The black wood newels and handrail create striking contrast with the lighter details. A custom spiral staircase echoes this aesthetic with jet-black metal triangular frames supporting natural wood treads. We are so happy our customer in the country side of Dodgeville, WI hired us to design and install their master closets. This is a new home designed by an architect that was an employee of Frank Lloyd Wright. The house overlooks a valley and is designed with the Frank Lloyd Wright look and engineering. The closets feature cabinets with backing, dressers, drawers, shoe shelves, and pull down hangers.

One of our commercial designs was selected for this beautiful clubhouse and fitness center. The design features square wooden newels and wooden stringers finished with grey semi-gloss paint to match the vertical metal rods and handrail. This particular staircase was designed for a complete metal balustrade system and carpeted treads, so that the stairs could meet code requirements for a commercial setting. 1976-2026 © Century Stair Company
