This condo was designed for a great client: a young professional male with modern and unfussy sensibilities. The goal was to create a space that represented this by using clean lines and blending natural and industrial tones and materials. Great care was taken to be sure that interest was created through a balance of high contrast and simplicity. Newly constructed double vanity bath with separate soaking tub and shower for two teenage sisters. Subway tile, herringbone tile, porcelain handle lever faucets, and schoolhouse style light fixtures give a vintage twist to a contemporary bath.

FIRST PLACE 2018 ASID DESIGN OVATION AWARD / MASTER BATH OVER $50,000. In addition to a much-needed update, the clients desired a spa-like environment for their Master Bath. Sea Pearl Quartzite slabs were used on an entire wall and around the vanity and served as this ethereal palette inspiration. This kitchen has many interesting elements that set it apart. The sense of openness is created by the raised ceiling and multiple ceiling levels, lighting and light colored cabinets. A custom hood over the stone back splash creates a wonderful focal point. The traditionally styled architectural mill work compliments the island's use of reclaimed wood, transitional tapered legs, and white Carrara marble. White Subway Tile and floating shelves in a distressed warm wood tone balance the barn door across the room and add another transitional touch to the room.
