Every piece in this entryway design shares the same mood and quiet intensity. Paintings by local artist Michael Dowling and woodblock printed pieces by renowned 1930’s French artist Georges Rouault show a raw, honest, and emotional insight that both artists are known for in their works. The grasscloth backdrop adds depth without distraction. A 1940’s bronze and celluloid art deco lamp lights up the moment, and a couple of our favorite interior design cocktail books on a tree inspired entry table keep the vibe interesting and welcoming. Collected, not cluttered, with Rivington Marx style!

This is an original, collaborative, abstract acrylic painting sized at 48x30. As the painting evolves into being, thoughtful compositions arise, colors and textures emerge. Michelle & Robert use many layers of paint; shades of orange, red, purple, white and green creating a variety of thicknesses and textures. This piece is meant to bring beauty and calm wherever it is placed, allowing the viewer to take time to simply be. Gallery-wrapped canvas has edges painted to match the front of the piece. Signed on the back and ready to hang. About the artist: Michelle and Robert Casarietti have been painting together for over 16 years. What has evolved is a collaboration of two artists, husband and wife, who share their souls and spirits on the same canvas. The artists seek to evoke positive feelings and experiences for the viewer, to create moments of peace and reflection that become uniquely the viewer's. Each painting is a collaboration: the artists work together to create light, dimension, movement, and feeling

## A very formal and detailed library The entire custom woodwork is built out of the highest quality of cherry wood. Deep red-brown staining adds richness and formality to the design. The detailed coffered ceiling, an artistic and luxurious piece of millwork, consists of many layers of moldings and milled solid wood. Custom embossing of the moldings adds formality and richness to the design. This beautiful woodwork is also featured in the custom-made corbels, arched cabinets, and fluted columns.

We listened intently as this delightful family shared their vision for an Old World dream home with a European flair. One that was distinctly elegant, yet still casual enough for gatherings. It was very important to build with natural materials that fit in character with the surroundings. Attention to detail in each room was of utmost importance as the homeowners used their keen artistic sensibilities to stay closely involved in the selection of materials and colors. The resulting home feels as though it could’ve been built a century ago.
