Created for David Bowie's manager this expansive living room simply needs to be experienced. The talcum powder soft grey hue of the massive concrete structure together with the light play of both direct, diffusive and reflected light creates motion and moving contrast. It has been said that architecture is frozen music.....if so....there is an artistic thaw here on Maui. Artistry..... music, dance, art and literature all are in perfect balance here in paradise.
Our LHF technologies are but mere tools, such as an artists brushes. Our systems enable artists and audiences alike the opportunity to both create and experience dimensions in music that is not possible on inferior systems.

As you walk into this modern living space, you are greeted by the amble sunlight from the skylights and large window that extends from the ground to the ceiling. A pleasing space to enjoy a book next to the fireplace but it much more than that. With a press of a button, shades lower covering every window, blocking all sunlight. A screen descend from above the fireplace and a projector lowers from the ceiling. The Meridian speakers that were artfully accenting the room begin to play. This modern living space seamlessly is transitioned to a high performing theater room.

This a room that really flows and was created on a very strict budget. The soffit and walls combine to deflect acoustic standing waves while upholstery over 1" high density foam absorbs first reflections at higher frequencies. Acoustically matched towers and hidden in-wall center speaker match perfectly to the faux painted surrounds while tiered seating provides a great picture for the entire audience.

The design is clean and refined, with a neutral, soothing color palette and high end finishes. Classic architectural details add character to the space. The materials used are inspired by the local surroundings of green landscapes and gardens, historic architecture, stone mansions, cobblestone streets and vintage artifacts and antiques. The stone fireplace with custom banquettes adds casual seating and the soaring ceilings with dormer detail allow natural light to flood the main entertaining area. Light, airy, clearly architectonic in character, WING has a slender metal base raised off the floor. The almost invisible legs seem to make it float in the air. The back, a soft geometric parallelepiped, low and deep, is supported by slender metal parts fastened to the rear of the structure. The back is separated from the seat, accentuating the sense of lightness. Linear or in groupings, ideal for the home but also perfect for contract applications, WING is a versatile project, created for a demanding, sophisticated audience. Also available: the WING chaise longue with wide armrest.

BEFORE: The second bedroom was nice, but still a little too customized to appeal to a broad audience.

The objective was to create a warm neutral space to later customize to a specific colour palate/preference of the end user for this new construction home being built to sell. A high-end contemporary feel was requested to attract buyers in the area. An impressive kitchen that exuded high class and made an impact on guests as they entered the home, without being overbearing. The space offers an appealing open floorplan conducive to entertaining with indoor-outdoor flow.
Due to the spec nature of this house, the home had to remain appealing to the builder, while keeping a broad audience of potential buyers in mind. The challenge lay in creating a unique look, with visually interesting materials and finishes, while not being so unique that potential owners couldn’t envision making it their own. The focus on key elements elevates the look, while other features blend and offer support to these striking components. As the home was built for sale, profitability was important; materials were sourced at best value, while retaining high-end appeal. Adaptations to the home’s original design plan improve flow and usability within the kitchen-greatroom. The client desired a rich dark finish. The chosen colours tie the kitchen to the rest of the home (creating unity as combination, colours and materials, is repeated throughout).

This project focused on designing, renovating, and furnishing a 50-year-old, 13-story condominium tailored to meet the lifestyle preferences of senior residents. The goal was to create an environment that felt like home, blending elements of classic design with modern sensibilities to strike a harmonious balance. Highlights of the renovation include:
Color Palette: Neutral tones were carefully chosen to craft a tranquil and timeless atmosphere, resonating with seniors who appreciate understated elegance.
Minimalistic Trim Work: Simple yet impactful trim work was used to enhance the spaces with clean and sophisticated lines.
Redesigned Suite Doors: Traditional wood doors were transformed with high-quality paint and refined hardware, introducing a contrast against black that exudes timeless appeal while feeling fresh and modern.
Lighting: LED ceiling light boxes in the lobby and on each resident floor replaced the previously dark ambiance with a bright, cheerful environment. Statement lighting fixtures were added to provide artistic sophistication.
Lobby Fireplace: A modern yet inviting fireplace became the centerpiece of the lobby, blending contemporary design with a cozy, home-like atmosphere that senior residents find comforting.
Modern Classic Furniture and Accessories: Carefully selected items blended sleek modern lines with classic detailing, ensuring that the furnishings felt personal and familiar, akin to what one might find in a home rather than a commercial lobby. This combination fostered a warm, welcoming ambiance throughout shared spaces, aligning perfectly with the sensibilities of the senior residents.
The success of this renovation lies in its ability to resonate deeply with its audience. By marrying the timeless charm of traditional aesthetics with the sleek sophistication of modern design, the Hallmark Condo Refresh has created a vibrant and elegant space that seniors can truly feel at home in.

Beautiful AirBnb located in Queenscliff reached out to us to produce their original Visual Content for advertising.
We are never tired of saying it: Visual Content is the bridge between brands and clients that ultimately brings both clients and brands together to make business happen. Our audiences are all online, exchanging reviews, promoting their favourites, and above all, they are all looking! All details, formats, spaces, styles, what is nearby, what is the view from the window, and does it really have everything I need and want? Photography and videography reveal all of it, answering questions and igniting the desire to be there and part of it.
