Congratulations to the family that allowed us to transform their kitchen space! We managed to complete this remodel - just in time for them to bring a beautiful baby girl into this world! It was quite an amazing experience to design and remodel this home with our new Medallion Cabinetry product line. The main area of cabinetry features our Gold Line in Park Place door style, in the color Sea Salt with Pewter Highlight. Their new 7ft island is our Appaloosa Peppercorn with matching island legs. New Vista managed this project from start to finish, including all permits required by the local building department. The previous 20ft wall had been located from the area of the remaining post to the window to the right of the sink, shown in these photos. Proper removal of this wall did require a structurally sound weight load transfer in the attic. Safety comes first! Also included: Granite counters, new appliances, brick style backsplash, flooring, gas line/plumbing/electrical relocation, can lighting and new plumbing fixtures. Our CAD drawings are proving to be incredibly helpful in the design process of our remodels, allowing customers to really SEE what they can do with the space they have! This project had closed without any change orders and the total time encompassed exactly 8wks - from demolition to final inspection!

The homeowners had a very large and beautiful meadow-like backyard, surrounded by full grown trees and unfortunately mosquitoes. To minimize mosquito exposure for them and their baby, they needed a screened porch to be able to enjoy meals and relax in the beautiful outdoors. They also wanted a large deck/patio area for outdoor family and friends entertaining. We constructed an amazing detached oasis: an enclosed screened porch structure with all stone masonry fireplace, an integrated composite deck surface, large flagstone patio, and 2 flagstone walkways, which is also outfitted with a TV, gas fireplace, ceiling fan, recessed and accent lighting.

Like the boy's room the first thought, at least from the girl, was "I want it pink, I want it ALL pink". And we definitely gave her all the pink she could look at, while relaxed in her bed staring up at the ceiling. As for the rest of the room we chose a light grey/white color called barely there csp-725 to restore balance and light to the room.

Appearing as though this structure has stood in it's current spot for decades, this amazing pool house was created by Restoring Texas using mostly reclaimed materials harvested from local dilapidated Texas historical structures. Particularly, the siding, columns, doors, windows and many of other elements were salvaged from a Texas Craftsman style sharecropper home built in 1930. The tin was taken from the roofs of an early 1900's Texas barn. Historic signs such as the "Poss Pool Palace" sign bearing the name of its owners are reproduced and personalized by a local artist. Restoring Texas works closely with skilled builders and designers, and of course the home owners, throughout Texas to build these amazing works of art.

The Aerius - Modern American Craftsman on Acreage in Ridgefield Washington by Cascade West Development Inc. Welcome to the Aerius. Don’t let the Northwest inspired appearance fool you. As you step inside; the interwoven transitional, modern and contemporary elements make personal solitude, friendly gatherings, and extended family stays simultaneously conceivable. The thoughtful division of rooms and amenities insure space for each member of the household to act independently or to come together as a whole and share in the quiet sophistication of the common areas. The family that lives here values independence as well as inclusion. Functionality and freedom are the principles of this nest; from which a family can take flight. At first glance this home seems to disappear into it’s surroundings. The dark, natural appearance of the rock borrows hues and rough texture from the surrounding forest. A soft, powder blue paint gives no clear chromatic indication between structure and sky. With this in mind the dark shingles seem to float above a stoney foundation. Unexpected levitation isn’t the only aerial endeavor this home embarks upon. With lofty interiors and dismissible separation from the outdoors; people, air and conversation can flow freely throughout the combined space. Overall the home echoes the popular American Craftsman style, which dots the Pacific Northwest landscape. This home’s many peaks; supported by visible gables and lower exterior masonry denote common treatments found throughout Clark County. However, within the championed modern features of this home, touches of originality can still be found. From the driveway to the dining room, the design guides the viewer through the home while maintaining a comfortable and creative atmosphere. This project is the definition of where the finesse of craftsmanship and structural brute must meet and far exceed client expectations. ​ The massive undertaking of excavating 700 cubic yards of soil to add a new basement below the existing structure took this 2-story home to 4,000 square feet. This now 3-story Victorian boasts 1,800 additional square feet of useable space including a third living room with soundproof insulation and custom built-in cabinetry, a wet bar, full bathroom with Waterworks fixtures and intricate marble tile, private office, laundry room equipped with a chute from every floor, and a gym & guest room. ​ Restoring, the original upper 2 floors of this stunning Victorian to its former glory was another challenge in and of itself. Rehabbing vaulted coved ceilings & original early 19th century mantels, renovating the bedrooms and bathrooms, updating the kitchen and creating an indoor/outdoor experience by installing doors in the former window locations between the dining room and patio were just a few key elements of this project.
