We've worked with multiple remodeling companies in the past few years, and our experience with Daniels Design was BY FAR the best. Convenience and customer service are exactly why we hired a full service company, and we were not disappointed. Our project had some unique requirements, and Daniels utilized their network of professionals to find the right solution. The whole team was wonderful, but we'd love to give an extra shout-out to Ryan, our project manager. He was quick to respond to all questions, was on site nearly every day, and he stayed on top of all issues until they were resolved. A great project manager makes a huge difference, and Ryan was fantastic.

Daniels Design gave us the master bath of our dreams! It is stunning! Beauty, quality, perfection, and function were the results of extensive planning, focus, commitment to excellence and outstanding problem solving. This all occurred during the Pandemic's supply chain difficulties. We plan on using Daniels for our future projects.

Excellent experience all the way around. Worked with us on extensive planning to build out our basement. Very willing to work with us to develop a holistic plan, then segment out to various phases and levels of completion (paint ready, fully completed, just studs) that fit within our budget. Great planning process, plans, specs produced; very professional approach and execution. Once construction started, all problems, issues and questions were immediately dealt with. Good communication with the entire team throughout the project.

We hired Daniel's Design & Remodeling for our outdoor patio and screened in porch and they did a beautiful job. We had gotten a few quotes originally and Daniel's was a little more expensive but was well worth the extra cost for the customer service and 2 year "warranty." We would definitely use this company again in the future!

The onsite staff for DD&R could not have been more polite or professional. The craftsmanship required to remodel the stair railings from a colonial railing system to a stainless cable rail was nothing less than spectacular.

Ted Daniels runs an excellent remodeling business. We wanted a complete makeover for our kitchen requiring a wall to be removed and complete demo down to the studs. Further, this had to be completed in two months before our daughter's wedding. Ted & his competent team assessed the project and provided a schedule before the project of what would occur each day; very little needed adjusting. He promised to be finished by one week before the wedding; short story, they held to the promise! Despite a couple of set backs, Ted, and his very able master carpenter Bobby Queen, ensured the work was done with high quality and virtually no overtime. The new kitchen was a huge success with our family & friends. I highly recommend Daniels Design & Remodeling.

In 2016 we contracted with Daniels Design and Remodeling to renovate our kitchen, laundry room, and master bath, and we could not be more pleased with the results. In short, it was an outstanding experience. From the beginning, we were completely involved in the decisions during all phases of the process, design, demolition, construction, and decorating. Their technical staff explained our construction choices, while their designers helped with flooring selections, cabinets, finishes, colors and accents. At the start of construction, the Daniels team put in temporary plastic walls to keep the dust down, which was a tremendous help with construction on two floors. They also left us our kitchen sink well into the demolition, which we greatly appreciated. We especially valued the weekly progress meetings with the Production Manager and Lead Carpenter. They did an outstanding job of keeping us informed of the progress, any technical issues encountered, and suggested sound solutions when surprises were encountered. The quality of the work and attention to detail were excellent in every respect. The end result was outstanding and we are completely pleased with the experience. We would absolutely work with Daniels Design and Remodeling again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a luxury remodeling project.

We contracted with Daniels to finish our basement. We had excellent customer service from the first meeting, and excellent interactions every step of the way from there. The contractors showed up on-time, every time, were as unobtrusive as possible and did quality work. Daniels' process of project management is super-thorough, from weekly progress meetings, to providing explanations for necessary changes to constantly being available for feedback or questions. Additionally, they were constantly making us aware of potential issues with pre-existing conditions in the space, and were always happy to suggest ways to remediate problems. We had heard nightmare stories about working with remodeling companies on a job of this size and scope, and we had no such problems with Daniels and their wonderful team. The end result is a beautiful, well-designed, well-constructed basement! We couldn't be happier!

We had a good experience with Daniels Design & Remodeling and would recommend them to others. We used them for a major renovation that included adding an addition to our house as well as interior renovations including relocating a staircase. We felt like they did a good job understanding our needs and ideas and incorporating them into the design. They were timely in creating a design, obtaining permits and getting the project started. We like that they assign a lead carpenter to your project who is at the house every day to oversee what’s going on However, we did we did have some issues with our specific lead. Although he did some things well, we also feel like some of the delays we encountered could have been avoided if he had done things differently. We enjoyed working with the production manager, Michael, and felt that he was good about addressing any issues and concerns we had along the way. Michael met with us in person weekly to discuss our project and we found that very useful in keeping the communication open. We feel like Ted Daniels and his company are honest and sincere and want to provide the customer with the best experience possible. We love the finished project.

Daniels Design and Remodeling completed a complex, multiple bathroom, kitchen and laundry room remodel for us in 2014. From design, to production, to follow-up, they performed flawlessly, giving us the rooms we dreamed of. Ted Daniels and his team are totally focused on client satisfaction. They were quick to respond to our changing requirements and unplanned surprises behind the walls. They proposed good solutions that enhanced the original design. They quoted a price and brought the project in on time and on budget. We recommend them without reservation.

Ted Daniels and his team at Daniels Design & Remodeling, Inc. provided us with a beautiful new kitchen space and a reconfigured master bathroom. Our bathroom remodel did not involve new construction, although the entire space was demolished and re-designed. The kitchen design and construction was much more involved, as it included a 10 ft. x 17 ft. addition. The design phase took about 3 months and the construction lasted roughly 4 months. Throughout our project, Ted and his staff were diligent and committed to creating the space that we wanted. Of course in a project this size, there were some surprises and in this respect, DDR honored their commitment to the project agreement. Once the design phase ended and the construction began, we interacted daily with DDR's lead carpenter. The lead carpenter assigned to our project was not only an excellent craftsman, he was also hard-working, kind, considerate and an effective project manager. He communicated effectively and resolved diverse problems. He worked with us to accomplish what we wanted within our budget. He cared for our home as if it were his own. Our project was a complete renovation reconstruction effort - new walls, plumbing, electrical wiring, tile, granite, and installation of fixtures, including sentimental client-owned tiles. DDR proposed a solution to a basement walkup "problem" that we implemented and are pleased with. Because we decided to install new hardwood floors throughout our home while DDR worked in the bathroom and kitchen areas, my husband and I managed the hardwood floor contract. DDR knew this up front and allowed time for the hardwood installation in their project schedule; neither our flooring schedule nor DDR's project was delayed. We lived onsite during the project, and DDR ensured that the impact to us would be minimal. They showed care and concern for our cat. We researched other design build firms, and considered hiring our own architect and bidding the work out to general contractors. In the end, we decided to go with DDR because we felt the design-build process DDR uses would work best for us. We believed the owner, Ted, to be honest and easy to work with. We were not disappointed in DDR the company, nor with our new kitchen and master bath.

After a major leak under our shower, we decided to take the opportunity to completely re-do our master bathroom. Daniels Design helped us from start to finish in the design, fixture/cabinet/tile/color selection, demolition and renovation. It was a complete re-do, including replacing all tile, plumbing fixtures, sink, vanity, etc. and removal of our master bathroom tub and installation of a larger, frameless glass shower, and took about 6 weeks. We could not be happier with the results and the entire process. The entire team at Daniels Design was courteous, responsive, and professional. We were walked through the project schedule at the beginning, and had weekly meetings with the project supervisor, Ron, to make sure everything was on-track (which it almost always was) and to address any changes or questions. The on-site supervisor, Bobby, was here everyday to oversee all the subs. He was always on time, extremely responsive to any questions, and left everything immaculate at the end of each day. Any concerns or issues were addressed promptly, without hassle. The bathroom was completed on-schedule, and we are thrilled with the results. It was the least stressful renovation project we have ever had, and the process was actually pleasant, as far as renovations go. Daniels Design was not the least expensive bid we received, but they were worth every penny, both in terms of customer service and quality of construction. We would use them again and highly recommend them.

Designed and Remodeled kitchen - removed dining room wall, moved 2 windows, installed new bay window, Installed new cabinets, granite countertops and brand new appliances. Also fixed a problem with the egress stairwell to the basement with new brickwork and grading the backyard. Replaced the old fireplace hearth tiles with ceramic tiles to match the kitchen. It is now a year later and we LOVE our new kitchen. There is not one design element or selection I would change. Ted and his team were fantastic to work with. Their professionalism and expertise is bar none the best. I can't wait to have them back to remodel our bathrooms. They truly care about the service and product they provide. Fantastic results! Daniels D&R added a room to the house, leveled a step down room, replaced a fireplace with a gas fireplace and re-did the front walk and steps. Their work was well-done, professional, and within budget. They made suggestions for improvements and were here when promised. I/we would definitely use them again.

Daniel's Design and Remodeling created an innovative design for us that is as beautiful as it is functional. We added onto our house going both out and up. The finished product is a house that looks like it was made this way. (I hate when an addition is obvious and doesn't flow with the original structure.) Creative and tasteful, we have a home that looks like it should cost twice as much. But in addition to the refined style, Ted Daniels and his team met our functional requirements of flexible space and maximized storage. Everyone worked very closely with us as we finalized design, selected products and surfaces, and discussed all important details -- nothing was a surpise. The Daniels team took us to quality distributors and allowed us to make selections but also provided the advice and guidance we needed. Our home became our own but we were never on our own. Of couse great design means nothing without quality execution. There was remarkable attention to detail and genuine pride in workmanship that is uncommon these days. Our lead carpenter was a true craftsman and knowledeable of all aspects of design, construction, and materials. Throughout the project, the team told us what to expect and when it would happen. And it all happened in a timely manner. Everything was organized and coordinated. From the delivery of materials to the coordination and scheduling of the various trades, the project ran smoothly. Despite living onsite during the project, we were comfortable throughout. Great measures were taken to be sure we were safe, warm, and cozy. In addition to protecting us, there was an equal amount of caring and concern for our pets and belongings. The jobsite was always neat and clean and our property was restored to pristine condition. I'm not sure I even found a stray nail. I cannot imagine going through this process with anyone else.

the project plan was well organized. Although there were some minor communication issues to the sub-contractors, these were addressed quickly and mitigating actions were taken to bring the project back on track. The on-site team provided informative feedback to the customer and always addressed questions with an informed, well thought out answer and plan.

Contracted with Danils Design to remodel family room/kitchen & master bath. Extremely proffessional coy with excellent hands on supervision of project and great sub-contractors . Daniels has an excelent in house designer who worked with us throughout project. I would have no hesitation to recomend this coy to anybody and will be using them on our next phase of our house renovation.

Everyone on the Daniels Team was professional, pleasant and very competent. They showed great attention to detail and made sure that I was happy with the end result--which I definitely am! I live in a condo that is in a courtyard with lots of opportunities to disrupt my neighbors inadvertently. Daniels did just the opposite. They were considerate and as tidy as one can be in these circumstances, taking care to protect common areas. Furthermore, they were just plain nice! My neighbors are still talking about how pleasant all of the workers were. The estimate of the time frame was a bit optimistic, but not outrageously so. Besides renovating my kitchen, they built a loft out of my attic, a project that required vision as well as skill. I have recommended Daniels to many neighbors and they currently are renovating my downstairs neighbor's kitchen.

Ted Daniels and his team renovated our kitchen almost a year ago, and we love walking into it every day. The work was professional, exactly what was agreed upon, and completed on schedule. Just as important to us was the experience of working with this talented team. Ted started by giving us a clear description of the work to be performed and a very detailed timeline for each aspect of the project. He then introduced us to his operations leader, Ron; lead carpenter, Bobby; and his designer, Claire. Right away we felt as though we were in capable hands. There are so many choices in materials and styles today that it can be overwhelming. Claire made a daunting task seem effortless and her eye for color brought everything together seamlessly. Bobby was on site every day and while he never stopped working, he was always available to answer our questions and to keep us advised about what was happening (we had a lot of questions). He was meticulous about cleaning as he worked and kept the disruptions to our lives to a minimum. Inevitably, some unanticipated glitches arose, and Bobby proved to be a real problem solver--either on his own or working in concert with Ron and/or Claire. He would not stop until every detail had been worked out to his and our satisfaction. Ted and his team kept to the planned schedule and budget; their work was professional and top quality; and they clearly respected our property. We highly recommend Daniels Design for any home renovation or remodeling project. They will be the first people we call for our next one!

I chose Daniels Design and Remodeling to convert a pre-existing in-law suite area into a bar and billiard room which now resembles a true pub atmosphere. Ted Daniels was very knowledgeable, intuitive, and delivered EXACTLY what I envisioned.
