A trio of our Stamen pendants in Sapphire glass hangs above the kitchen island. The bold color of our blue glass adds a burst of color in the white kitchen, making a bold statement against the light wood cabinets and quartz countertops. Designed by Haddad Hakansson of Belmont, MA, this kitchen features the Pennville Shakertown door in painted maple (Cottonball). The new space includes custom built in dog dishes, an extra large island, a separate coffee center and a built-in desk/display center to showcase the client's beloved Mackenzie-Childs pottery. This kitchen won first place in the 2014 NKBA Northern New England design contest (large kitchen remodel).

This is a detailed picture of the kitchen. I particularly love the mosaic backsplash with the slab granite (smerelda). The backsplash makes a splash not only because it is a great art piece but because the pieces include iridescent tiles.
