Crelan – Belgium Bruxelles, Belgium The elegance of Agglotech’s Venetian marble cement gives a touch of style and personality to the Brussels offices of Crelan, the Belgian bank with roots in agriculture. The color chosen for this project was SB130 Aggloceppo, a product that is a favorite among designers for the distinctive personality it gives to their projects.

Perectly balanced, this dramatic black and white bathroom is a stunner. Thoughtful design was top of mind for these clients as they approached the Renovisions team to help narrow down their choices and bring it to life. Finding balance while mixing darker, heavier black finishes and lighter, white finishes was the task at hand and the goal was to create a modern look with an industrial/rustic feel. The challenge on this project was incorporating all the desired elements and products in a tight spatial constraint of 9’ x 7.5’. The clients biggest concern in the old bathroom was inadequate storage, tired and under-utilized bathtub and they also needed an additional sink for their two daughters who often share this space. Renovisions recommended removing the wall between the shower and closet to gain additional floor space as you enter the bath, while providing wall space for the three towel bars. Collaborating with the clients and searching to find the right fixtures paid off nicely. This newly remodeled Renovision accommodated two rectangular sinks, a walk-in shower with hand-held shower, wall-mounted shower head and two soft spray body jets. The oil-rubbed bronze fixtures not only provided a luxurious spa experience, but also added warmth and softness to the vintage feel. The glass shower enclosure is trimmed in a matte black grid that boasts an industrial aesthetic with retro feel while delivering modernistic function. It’s unique in appearance while allowing the chic white subway and black and white diamond tile to peek through. The beautifully designed cabinetry in a matte black painted finish provides plenty of storage. This smart configuration included two banks of three drawers for toiletries and accessories, two towers with adjustable shelves for towels and two ‘garage’ doors for hair dryers. Another unique design detail to capture attention was the black and white curvy geometric floor tile which plays off the straight lines of the cabinets and square grids of the shower enclosure. The clients are thrilled with the results and their modern, high-contrast styled digs – a true customized relaxation sanctuary for the entire family.

A clean, organized workplace is a productive workplace. So when sales representative Randy Kirchof was researching how to furnish his new home office, he knew it had to do a lot more than just look good. His former home office furnishings were not only unsuitable for a thriving home-based business, they didn't work with each other, either. "My old home office had a mismatch of furniture," Randy says. "When we built our new house, I decided I was going to do it right. That meant outfitting my office with Lista cabinets." A solid choice. Randy's office now contains a bank of Lista drawer storage cabinets, which stand a short chair-roll from his Lista desk, and fit nicely against the short vertical wall space that meets a sloping ceiling. The drawers' sharp black finish adds a clean contrast to the office's primarily white surroundings. The desk is comprised of two Lista cabinet pedestals, each of which flanks a sizable window that overlooks the passing seasons. The goal here was a primary bath that reads like a retreat without losing the warmth of the rest of the house. The vanity wall anchors the room: a custom double vanity in a deep olive-gray, with raised-panel doors, a bank of deep drawers, and a countertop tower that separates the two stations and keeps daily clutter off the counter. A white, softly veined stone surface runs the full length, and a pair of arched, molded mirrors , finished to match the cabinetry, sit beneath textured glass sconces that scatter light across the ceiling. Across the room the palette shifts. The corner shower is wrapped floor to ceiling in large-format porcelain with bronze and amber movement, closed in frameless glass and lit by recessed cans overhead. Inside: a rainfall head, a handheld on a slide bar, a built-in bench, a recessed niche, and a hexagon mosaic floor. The freestanding soaking tub sits alongside with a wall-mounted filler and a long tiled ledge for bath products. A skylight keeps the whole room daylit. Door Style: Parkside Inset Construction: Flush Inset Wood Type: HDM Paint: Showplace Paints - Black After purchasing this modern style ranch home built in the 1980's the homeowners wanted to open up the floor plan and modernize the look and feel. Creating a functional space that met the cooking needs of a large active family while supporting entertaining large parties with ease was very important. With good bones and many appealing architectural details already in place, the home just needed a make over with good design to become the next better version of itself. One of the first hurdles in developing this design was creating a contemporary Scandinavian feel without upper wall cabinets, so special attention needed to be placed on storage needs. This was addressed through the use of multiple sets of wide, large drawer banks, tray divider cabinets, and storage on the back side of the island's counter top overhang. This created the necessary space to ensure every pot and pan had a home, and in the correct place for its intended purpose. Entertainment needs were addressed by creating a separate space dedicated to wine columns, a coffee station, and associated glassware. The homeowners came into the project with a desire for black painted shaker style cabinetry with large gold hardware; this was an appealing challenge for the design team at Haggard Home Cabinetry & Design, who loved the unique opportunity to "color outside of the lines" and stretch their creative talents. A combination of sky lights and large windows flood the space with natural light and enhance the dark painted choice in cabinetry. In the end, the homeowners brought their tasteful vision of a great design to this project which became beautiful reality in a space they will love for years to come.
