We love to layer on the color! A room-sized custom sectional was designed with Castellano’s Custom Furniture to command the space and welcome a crowd. When ceilings soar, artwork should most certainly rise to the occasion, and an 80” tall canvas piece was customized with LeftBank Art to meet the grand scale. Coordinating fabric on sofas and window cushions give this room a custom feel without breaking the bank. The view is what it's all about so arranging the sofas where they have adequate views of the fireplace and television (not pictured), while maintaining the ability to see the lake is key!

Crelan – Belgium Bruxelles, Belgium The elegance of Agglotech’s Venetian marble cement gives a touch of style and personality to the Brussels offices of Crelan, the Belgian bank with roots in agriculture. The color chosen for this project was SB130 Aggloceppo, a product that is a favorite among designers for the distinctive personality it gives to their projects.

Check out this amazing Massive Disappeaing Waterfall build just recently completed. What an epic build! This moss rock waterfall is a one of a kind custom creation like none you’ve ever witnessed. But you are all witnesses now ;). We took a drab weedy flower bed on a bank and turned it into a true masterpiece. This pondless waterfall was built using all aquascape pond products per usual. The moss rock boulders truly make this water feature. This water feature also harvest rain water from the down spots on the home hidden through the large drift wood on the edge. No need to pull out the hose to fill this feature up. Follow along as we put on the finishing touches to the feature in the video above and the final work of art in the pictures below.

The Cora chair is the final result of an aesthetic research exploring the differences between wood, metal and plastic in one simple object: the chair. Wood renders warmth and solidity to the seat, plastic confers elasticity to the backrest while metal grants visual lightness to the structure. Cora is the result of a challenging work carried out together with the injection moulding engineers aiming to create the perfect dialogue between different materials respectful of the structure stress regulations. The result is an instant classic. The Spazioteca bookcase goes well beyond the expectations of a bookcase. Whether wall mounted or free standing, its versatility makes it ideal for any environment. It is available with lacquered fronts, see-through sliding doors as well as combined with Spazio modules allowing for endless possibilities. Spazioteca provides storage within its own style.

Inspiration for a kitchen remodel in New York

Perectly balanced, this dramatic black and white bathroom is a stunner. Thoughtful design was top of mind for these clients as they approached the Renovisions team to help narrow down their choices and bring it to life. Finding balance while mixing darker, heavier black finishes and lighter, white finishes was the task at hand and the goal was to create a modern look with an industrial/rustic feel. The challenge on this project was incorporating all the desired elements and products in a tight spatial constraint of 9’ x 7.5’. The clients biggest concern in the old bathroom was inadequate storage, tired and under-utilized bathtub and they also needed an additional sink for their two daughters who often share this space. Renovisions recommended removing the wall between the shower and closet to gain additional floor space as you enter the bath, while providing wall space for the three towel bars. Collaborating with the clients and searching to find the right fixtures paid off nicely. This newly remodeled Renovision accommodated two rectangular sinks, a walk-in shower with hand-held shower, wall-mounted shower head and two soft spray body jets. The oil-rubbed bronze fixtures not only provided a luxurious spa experience, but also added warmth and softness to the vintage feel. The glass shower enclosure is trimmed in a matte black grid that boasts an industrial aesthetic with retro feel while delivering modernistic function. It’s unique in appearance while allowing the chic white subway and black and white diamond tile to peek through. The beautifully designed cabinetry in a matte black painted finish provides plenty of storage. This smart configuration included two banks of three drawers for toiletries and accessories, two towers with adjustable shelves for towels and two ‘garage’ doors for hair dryers. Another unique design detail to capture attention was the black and white curvy geometric floor tile which plays off the straight lines of the cabinets and square grids of the shower enclosure. The clients are thrilled with the results and their modern, high-contrast styled digs – a true customized relaxation sanctuary for the entire family.

The kitchen is now the hub of the house with its roomier, more open layout, natural light and improved flow. Flooring is new top nailed White Oak to match the existing floor. New perimeter cabinets are painted white with unlacquered brass hardware. Near the windows is a cookbook and bill pay area with a fold-down desk. All cabinetry is custom made by Arciform. Counters are topped with 3cm Soapstone from Pental Surfaces. Most of the light fixtures are salvaged and restored, and represent the general time period of the house. Appliances include a range by BlueStar, Miele dishwasher and Frigidaire refrigerator, all from EastBank Appliances, while plumbing fixtures are by Kohler and Waterstone. The custom range hood cover was crafted by Arciform. There are framed corkboards for family notes and reminders, and the backsplash tile at the sink and range is glossy white thin brick by Fireclay.

Project: Kitsilano House Builder: Grenor Homes About this Project When our clients asked us to design their new house in the heart of Kitsilano, they wanted a space that showcased their personalities, travels, and experiences. Naturally, our team was instantly excited and eager to make this house a home. Layout: Prior to the renovation, the family room was adjacent to the kitchen and the formal living room at the other end of the space; in the middle was the dinning area. We looked at the main floor as an entire space and decided to combine the two living spaces into one and move the dining area towards the kitchen. The Kitchen: had always been an L shape with an island; previously there was a kitchen table by the windows. In the space planning period, we decided to eliminate the kitchen table to increase the overall size of the kitchen, giving us a bigger island for casual eating. The perimeter of the kitchen has many great features; a coffee nook, a freezer column, double ovens, a cooktop with drawers below, an appliance garage in the awkward corner, a pantry with ample storage and free-standing fridge. The Island also has many key features; a built-in unit for garbage/recycling/compost, a slide out tray underneath the sink for easy access to cleaning products, a dishwasher, and a bank of four drawer. On the outside of the island is an open shelf for cookbooks and display items. Below the countertop overhang is additional hidden storage for the items not accessed frequently. Dinning Area: we utilized the pre-existing niche by incorporating floating shelves in an asymmetrical design, which became the perfect area for the clients to display the art collected during their travels. Bar Area: The space between the kitchen and powder room became the perfect place to add a bar. Storage, counter space, and 2 bar fridges brought this little entertaining area to life. Fireplace: Using existing fireplace unit we cladded the surround with Dekton material, paneled the wall above with Walnut and a mantel made from Quarkus. These materials repeat them selves through the entire space.

A clean, organized workplace is a productive workplace. So when sales representative Randy Kirchof was researching how to furnish his new home office, he knew it had to do a lot more than just look good. His former home office furnishings were not only unsuitable for a thriving home-based business, they didn't work with each other, either. "My old home office had a mismatch of furniture," Randy says. "When we built our new house, I decided I was going to do it right. That meant outfitting my office with Lista cabinets." A solid choice. Randy's office now contains a bank of Lista drawer storage cabinets, which stand a short chair-roll from his Lista desk, and fit nicely against the short vertical wall space that meets a sloping ceiling. The drawers' sharp black finish adds a clean contrast to the office's primarily white surroundings. The desk is comprised of two Lista cabinet pedestals, each of which flanks a sizable window that overlooks the passing seasons. A solid worktop bridges the space between the two cabinets, creating a spacious desk surface that not only maintains the aesthetic feel of the surroundings, but also enhances the space's durable functionality - features that are certainly not lost on Randy. "Most file cabinets are rickety pieces of junk," he says. "Lista's are really solid." It's an impression that seems to be shared by visitors as well. "Lista stuff works perfectly in a home environment. Everyone who comes up to see the office is blown away."

This kitchen remodel was designed by Phil Rudick, Architect of Urban Kitchens + Baths, Austin, Texas. The original kitchen was built with a boomerang shaped peninsula which severely restricted traffic flow and only allowed for a small island. one long wall was totally underutilized, and no thought was given to storage and accessibility. We wanted to redesign the space to maximize it's potential. The redesigned kitchen space features a proper work triangle where the areas at the triangle points were fully developed for food prep, cooking and cleanup. The new large island offers seating thanks to a graceful granite counter top overhang, and the bank of tall pantry cabinets is outfitted with mobile full extension self/soft close shelves.

The vanity wall anchors the room: a custom double vanity in a deep olive-gray, with raised-panel doors, a bank of deep drawers, and a countertop tower that separates the two stations and keeps daily clutter off the counter. A white, softly veined stone surface runs the full length, and a pair of arched, molded mirrors , finished to match the cabinetry, sit beneath textured glass sconces that scatter light across the ceiling. Across the room the palette shifts. The corner shower is wrapped floor to ceiling in large-format porcelain with bronze and amber movement, closed in frameless glass and lit by recessed cans overhead. Inside: a rainfall head, a handheld on a slide bar, a built-in bench, a recessed niche, and a hexagon mosaic floor. The freestanding soaking tub sits alongside with a wall-mounted filler and a long tiled ledge for bath products. A skylight keeps the whole room daylit. The result is calm and grounded — spa-quiet without being cold.
