In the bedroom, new dual-layer blackout curtains, wallpaper, and ceiling molding create a serene and stylish retreat. Premium bedding and white alabaster lamps add a touch of luxury and comfort. The bathroom renovation includes a custom vanity mirror, crystal twin vanity sconces, a new porcelain tile backsplash in a herringbone pattern, extra-large format shower tiles, and marble penny floor tiles. New brushed nickel plumbing fixtures complete the transformation, bringing a modern and elegant feel to the space.

Home design - small traditional home design idea in DC Metro

This Reston Virginia Condo remodel required us to bring every room up to date. We provided the new wood plank laminate flooring with a cork underlayment for maximum comfort and sound absorption. The client requested that we turn the second bedroom into an office space. We lined the wall with semi-custom cabinetry, a new ceiling fan and a built out custom closet to store books and office supplies. The adjacent bathroom shower walls and floors are lined with polished marble floor tile and new chrome plumbing fixtures. The new grey vanity and quartz counters compliment the new grey zigzag accent marble tile. The master bedroom received a full overhaul as well including a custom velvet headboard lined with espresso wood, new nightstands and dresser, 2 new pendant lamps in front of the new espresso wall mirrors. We were sure to incorporate new LED lighting throughout the condo including smart home enabled Wi-Fi controlled lighting.

We created a contemporary design with a new custom architecture bed feature. This is comprised of a dark finish with two wall sconces and LED lighting integrated into the millwork. New art on two walls adds a splash of color to the room. New window shades provide privacy yet allows soft light to enter the room. Using masculine tones, we were able to achieve a clean transitional design concept. We selected a light wall color to make the room feel warm and airy. Accessories were placed strategically in all of the spaces.

On the main level, the open-concept living and dining areas feature a combination of wood and leather, including a sleek dining table paired with leather chairs. Modern lighting fixtures enhance the ambiance, and a sculptural wood art piece elevates the dining space. A chrome bar cart adds a stylish touch to the kitchen, perfectly complemented by white and chrome bar stools. The living room features custom-built shelving made of natural oak veneer, large wall art, and curated accents like vases and custom throw pillows. Outside, the patio continues the design theme with outdoor-grade furnishings and throw pillows, making every corner of this home thoughtfully designed for both beauty and comfort.

Our firm is currently undertaking a full-home interior renovation that reimagines the residence with elevated materials, thoughtful spatial planning, and modern luxury throughout. The transformation begins with a completely redesigned primary bathroom suite featuring elegant marble flooring, large-format porcelain wall tile, and new brass plumbing fixtures. The space is centered around a deep soaking tub with a 43-inch television mounted above, complemented by integrated surround sound to create a spa-like retreat that balances comfort and sophistication. Adjacent to the suite, the primary bedroom sitting area has been refreshed with new engineered wood flooring that flows seamlessly throughout the upper levels of the home. The space incorporates sculptural glass wall sconces, premium built-in cabinetry, a 63-inch television, and an entirely new furniture layout designed to enhance both relaxation and functionality. Two additional bathrooms on the top floor echo the home’s cohesive design language, utilizing porcelain floor and shower tile, newly installed cabinetry, and warm bronze hardware to create timeless yet durable spaces. Moving downstairs, the foyer makes an immediate statement with a six-foot grand chandelier composed of crystal and polished nickel, establishing a dramatic focal point upon entry. Just off the foyer, the powder room introduces a more intimate and layered design, featuring stone elements, darker wall tones, decorative wallpaper, and a custom wall-mounted marble sink. The space is further elevated with a smart toilet and a custom semi-coffered ceiling that adds architectural interest. The kitchen serves as the heart of the home and has been fully reimagined with semi-custom cabinetry, professional-grade appliances, and distinctive gold welded wire mesh featured in many of the upper cabinet doors. Undercabinet LED lighting enhances both functionality and ambiance, while brass footrails invite guests to comfortably gather in the space. Quartz countertops and a full-height quartz backsplash complete the design, while thoughtful hidden features—such as pullout trash cans, a mixer lift, cutlery dividers, and other integrated storage solutions—ensure everyday convenience. Engineered wood flooring runs throughout the kitchen and upper two levels, tying the home together with warmth and continuity. Most walls across these floors have been painted in Benjamin Moore 983 “Smokey Taupe,” while many of the ceilings feature “Silhouette” in a flat finish, adding subtle contrast and depth to the interiors. This family room’s design was inspired by the Hawaiian Oahu resorts with a splash of a Caribbean inspired color palette. Inspiration for a large contemporary enclosed carpeted and beige floor home theater remodel in DC Metro with gray walls and a projector screen

New beige and teal tones encompass this living and dining space of this family’s home. A metallic ceiling paint was used with the new different lighting fixtures to accent the areas in need. Phillips Hue LED lighting bulbs were used throughout the space including in the ceiling fixtures so that the intensity and mood of the room can simply be controlled by an app on the clients phone. Accent tables were added to the space for guests and residents to place cocktails during a conversation. Mahogany wood tones make the room more transitional. The dining chairs are upholstered with a custom patterned front to add the needed texture to the space. Accent tables were added to the foyer space for use as a temporary placeholder for keys and other pocket items as guests and residents place their shoes on or off.

Grey and pewter tones were used as a base to revive this dated living and dining room. Aged wood tones including driftwood lamps were used in the space to keep the classic ambience of the traditional Washington D.C. style. A new custom media unit and sectional were included with the list of new pieces to help pull together the room and remove the focus from the parquet flooring.

The renovated bathroom boasts a modern mirror, frameless shower glass, slab shower stone, hexagon tile, brass fixtures, and a custom-framed Eagles jersey. The guest bedroom is cozy and stylish with fresh carpeting, chic furnishings, a diptych art set, pendant lighting, and wall mirrors for added depth. The entryway welcomes with a seating lounge, elegant wall molding, a large mirror, and curated artwork. In the open area, we included an 8-foot pool table, LVP flooring, recessed LED lighting, and a custom mural featuring key Eagles players. A 46” cart table with chairs and custom curtains completes the look.
