Complete kitchen redesign and remodel with new hardwood floors throughout entire 1st floor and upstairs hall. Wow!! what an island. We removed a half wall separating the kitchen from the morning room and redesigned the space to have a large central island with raised seating. The new island has a large farm sink, dishwasher, Miele speed oven, and plenty of storage. The granite tops in Fantasy Brown on the island and the perimeter tie all the colors together and the custom distressed cherry upper island top adds some texture and pop! Fieldstone cabinetry in the Stratford door in Dove painted finish were designed with stacked wall cabinets to the ceiling with lighted glass upper sections. Simple 3x12 Walker Zanger Café kettle crackle tiles were used for the backsplash in a subway set except for a change to herringbone set at the hood and range area. All new hardwood floors were installed as well as the stairs being refinished to match. New railings, posts, and spindles for the stairs and the foyer gets a whole new look. So much happened in this remodel it can’t all be listed. This new kitchen and basically new 1st floor were well designed and turned out looking fresh and stylish.

We removed a tub that had no green board or concrete board behind the tile. The customer elected to have a walk in shower in it's place.

Firm: Design Group Three
Designer: Alan Freysinger

Veteran kitchen designer Alan Freysinger worked closely with the Fox Point, WI homeowners on this kitchen. Admittedly, not afraid of color, the homeowner loved Alan's suggestion of adding the wood veneer to the mix of cabinetry, adding an additional layer of interest and the addition of texture.
Design Group Three, together with custom Greenfield Cabinetry, stepped up the living pleasure of this Fox Point family's home.
When this kitchen remodel was first underway, the homeowner envisioned a blue kitchen (orange was her 2nd choice!). She went to the paint store & found blues she liked, taped those color samples to the kitchen wall & one by one she and her husband whittled down their choices to the color blue you see now!
From Milwaukee to Chicago, clean lines are much desired in today's kitchen designs. Design Group Three hears many requests for Transitionally styled kitchens such as this one.
Want a pop of orange? blue? red? in your kitchen? Milwaukee's Design Group Three can custom match any color in paint (or stain!) for cabinetry in your home, as we did in for this blue kitchen in Fox Point, WI.
Not sure if you are up for this much color in your kitchen? Begin with remodeling a bathroom vanity with a pop of color, live with it for a while & then, if you decide it's for you too, call in Design Group Three & we'll work with you to uncover your perfect color palette.
Can you imagine this same kitchen in orange? This Fox Point, WI homeowners preliminary vision for her kitchen remodel walked the line between orange & blue!
Blue kitchens are completely on trend in today's kitchens!
According to the National Kitchen & Bath Association, Transitionally styled kitchens, such as this blue one, are the most commonly requested design genre. In fact, in 2012, for the first time ever since the NKBA started keeping track, Transitional beat out Traditional as the most requested style by homeowners.
What exactly is affordably luxury? You are witnessing it in these photos. Discover it via Milwaukee's Design Group Three & Greenfield Cabinetry.
Transitional Style (also known as "updated classic", "classic with a contemporary twist", "new takes on old classics") in interior design & furniture design refers to a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, midway between old world traditional & the world of chrome & glass contemporary; incorporating lines which are less ornate than traditional designs, but not as severely basic as contemporary lines. As a result transitional designs are classic, timeless, and clean.
Lucky, lucky kitchen. Greenfield Cabinetry's interpretation of Midwestern Modern.
Seasoned Design Group Three designer & owner, Alan Freysinger's design details take their cues from your lifestyle, as reflected in this transitionally styled kitchen.
"The general color trend is a move toward bolder, crisper colors as a reflection of the 'anything goes' culture we live in now." - Jonathan Adler, Designer

Updating a recently built town home in culver city for a wonderful family was a very enjoyable project for us.
The townhouse bathroom had a basic look and was lacking in both storage and looks. the main part of this project was the custom design and building of the vanity unit and the extra storage with bi-fold doors so not to take up too much space. the floors were done with porcelain tile that mimics the rich look of Calcutta marble.
the large format tile gives a sensation of space and minimalize the amount of grout lines on the floor.
The shower unit received a much-needed high end plumbing fixture and the shower head was raised to a normal height. the walls were tiled with the same floor tile in a staggered pattern.
the bench wall is the center focal point and is boasting a
chiseled texture dark gray tile that is been complimented by the slate shower pan tile work.
notice the bench top and the step into the shower, it is done with a single piece of quartz stone for a clean and grout-less look.

Our goal on this project was to create a live-able and open feeling space in a 690 square foot modern farmhouse. We planned for an open feeling space by installing tall windows and doors, utilizing pocket doors and building a vaulted ceiling. An efficient layout with hidden kitchen appliances and a concealed laundry space, built in tv and work desk, carefully selected furniture pieces and a bright and white colour palette combine to make this tiny house feel like a home. We achieved our goal of building a functionally beautiful space where we comfortably host a few friends and spend time together as a family.

Traditional "builder beige" or in this case "builder greige", new construction master bath, before. This bath had the following builder basics: vanity lighting, mirrors, paint and raised panel cabinet fronts.
While the lighting, mirror and cabinet fronts were builder grade. The counter tops, sinks, fixtures and flooring were all upgraded, before we took on the challenge of upgrading the rest of the space.
We had the vanity wall skimmed to remove the texture to allow for the install of this great black & white Peonies wallpaper on the back-splash. We added the stag head to bring a balance of hardness to softness of the wallpaper.
We added the wood and black metal framed hardware to add some more color and texture to the space.
We replaced the builder grade mirror with oversized individual mirrors, hung vertically over each sink.
For the shower we went with a 3" x 16" white subway tile and it was important to add a niche for all the shower essentials.
The ceiling height in this space is 11 feet. So, we decided to go for 8 foot doors and had them painted black. With ceiling this high the standard 6' 8" height doors would've looked a little odd. the 8 foot doors add a little drama to the space.
