Our kitchen turned out absolutely beautifully, and I can't recommend SoCal Builders and our contractor David enough. From beginning to end, David and his crew were professional and communicative and did excellent work. I had been saving for and dreaming about this kitchen remodel for years, so I had very high expectations and the finished product actually exceeded my expectations. The materials are high quality (gorgeous cabinets!) and provided just the look we wanted. Even though it's always challenging to have people in your house, the crew did their best to be nonintrusive and cleaned up well after work each day. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly by David, and he's just a really nice guy. We trusted him right away, and he proved himself worthy of that trust. I'm already starting to plan the remodel of my weird 70s bathroom, and I'll definitely be calling David to do the work!

We needed to remodel 2 bathrooms and put new flooring through out the house. After meeting with few companies we decided to go with SoCalBuilders&Design and we have no regrets. From start to finish our project manager was Gal. He was honest, always available, detail oriented and knowledgeable. Our price stayed the through out the whole remodeling process. It took about 2 months we thought it was pretty fast considering the size of our project. We called several contractors for quotes on building a pool and So Cal Builders was one of the ones who actually came to the house. He was very knowledgeable and made it feel like he was helping us come up with some great ideas. Some of the other contractors that came to the house and gave us quotes were pretty stingy when it came to creative ideas, they didn't really allow us to put to much of our input in. But that was not the case with So Cal Builders, it was really nice to feel like we were being heard and they had some fantastic ideas and found ways to save us money. Currently we had to put our project off until next year (personal reasons), but as soon as we are ready to break ground, I know who my first call will be to. Keep up the good work guys.

We had a consultation for a mother-in-law suite conversion with Gal (project manager and architect) and Roy (builder). Both were on time, courteous, professional, and easy to talk to. Gal seemed very knowledgeable and on point, had great ideas on how to convert the space while keeping things cost-effective, and was honest when some ideas for work weren’t really necessary and would only increase expenses to us. He helped us visualize the space and was able to lay out the next major steps as well as ballpark estimate for our project, including max we could expect to spend (being generous). While our project plans were put on hold for the time being, we are glad we had this consultation and look forward to working with him in the future!

We have worked with many construction companies. Working with SoCalBuilders made my past experiences so poor that I will never anyone except SoCalBuilders&Design. We also loved our project manager Gal. He was responsive, delivered all the steps of work on time according to the schedule. Avi of SoCalBuilders has been exceptional to work with. We hired him to build a ground-up 700 square foot guesthouse in Altadena. We selected Avi as our contractor, from several we had interviewed, for the following reasons: 1. His bid was very detailed oriented and we are used to working that way. 2. When we communicated with him, he was very responsive and always addressed our concerns and questions. He even caught mistakes or omissions on our plans. His emails were very well written and easy to understand. 3. He was very professional, punctual, and business-like, yet personable at the same time. We also felt that he really knew what it took to build a home. 4. He was willing to work with us on keeping our costs down by giving us credit for the appliances and flooring that we had already purchased. Avi did not disappoint. The construction went well, and if there was an issue, Avi figured out a solution every time. We would certainly hire him again if the need would arise.

SO Cal builders recently finished our complete kitchen remodeling project at our investment house. They were great people to work with during the entire remodeling. The in-house designer and Natali was very helpful by talking to us and understanding what we want to get and need in the kitchen. Our meetings with the designer was a good stage in determining the perfect layout. The construction work was smooth and by far surpassed our expectations! Our project manager Natali was on top of everything during the entire time. She made sure to inform us about each step that was completed and she also made sure to Send us with videos and pictures of the work on our group Chat. The construction quality was excellent as well. I had cracks in walls, ceiling, and floor repaired, walls painted and panels added to some walls, plus floor leveled and new tile flooring installed. I am very impressed with this company. I am picky since I have had problems in the past with other companies workers. Because of past issues with workers blasting their music, yacking on their cell phones constantly, leaving messes and washing their vehicles while on the job; I asked for: No music being played by workers, no being on cell phones while working, no washing their vehicles with my water, to be clean and behave like an adult when using my restrooms, and to clean up after themselves. Uri made sure that the workers abided by my requests. Uri was great. He checks in regularly and is there for your questions, and was there to see any issues were handled. Other companies I've used in the past did not do this. The workers were great; all very nice, hard workers who showed up to work on time and behaved in a professional manner.

I meet Uri , we were taking about redoing our roof, Uri was very professional and informative. Definitely will use again!

I hired So Cal Builders to refinish all of the wood windows, cabinets, floors, doors, and baseboards in my house. In addition, they painted the whole interior of my house, resealed the stone on my patio, and repaired outdoor stone and indoor plumbing. At the end of the job, they returned to touch up, and to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. The contract that we signed was very specific, and they completed all parts without ever attempting to add costs. The workers were very skilled, polite and respectful of both our family and our neighbors. They cleaned up at the end of every day, and were meticulous in both their work and clean up. The project manager and foreman were available at all times if I had concerns or questions, and both made frequent visits to the house to ensure the job was being completed at a high standard and in a timely way. My home looks as if it were brand new. I would highly recommend this company for any size home renovation, and I will hire them again when it is time to complete work on the exterior of my house.

I contacted So Cal Builders & Designers, to get an stimate, for our backyard we wanted a patio cover custom made to fit our backyard we also were in need to remove our grass and change it for concrete, we were a bit concerned because he had a short time frame to get this work done. They were nice and sent out Uri to give us an stimate, Uri was on time, polite and gave us the stimate the same day, which was perfect we explained our short time line, he said it could be done & YES! Avi did an awesome job with my house remodeling. From the beginning, Avi was very knowledge for all our needs and he is very patient to go over all of our questions. Avi and So Cal Builders was the most professional contractor we met with. We were going to do a extensive home extension project but decided to hold off and just do some light remodeling on our own. Had we moved forward with the project Avi would have definitely been our choice.

I have used this company for three projects, driveway, kitchen and foundation issue. I am happy with all three projects. Avaid has tolerated my pickyness and stubbon nature very gracefully. I actually imported my countertops from China and he was great about it, even when it held up the project. Funny, I wanted him to give me a completion date... I had hired them to add a wall and door to my bedroom. It went well, the workers were speedy and did quality work. They were all very professional. Aviad was helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries by me. I had a problem with the doorknob sticking after installation and they were able to fix it right away. Good service.

This is the second time we've worked with So Cal Builders & Design and the second time we've been very excited with the work they've done. This was a really big project for us. We did a major renovation to our kitchen (removed load bearing walls & supports), master bathroom, and a more cosmetic renovations to our laundry room. We also repainted every room in the house (3 bedroom / 2 bath) and updated the wiring and smoke/co2 detectors. It honestly feels like we gave our whole house a much needed facelift. Planning: Very smooth. We knew our high level goals and Avi told us what our options were. Avi provided a good sense of the cost and the pros/cons for our decisions. Heading to a showroom to look at materials was fun and we found things we really liked. We were given recommendations on where to do additional shopping and they would pick up materials with little effort on us. Schedule: We were able to start right away and except for a couple of issues with a supplier were mostly on time. Communication: Avi & Ferdy did a fantastic job of staying in close contact. In the case of delays we knew what was going on and what was being worked on next. Quality of Work: Like I said at the beginning we're very happy with the end result. I can be a very picky person and I felt like every single little thing got taken care of. If there was an alignment issue or imperfection it would get taken care of. The materials used were high quality and everything feels solid and well built. After months of work we're very happy with how our project turned out. There's no doubt we're relieved to be done since home renovations can be tough, but just the other day we chatted about what we'd work on next. and if we do I'd definitely call So Cal Builders & Design.

It was a great experience, Avi was available over the phone or in person every time i needed him. I appreciate his patience and willingness to work with me, he is the most honest contractor and true to his word i ever worked with. So Cal Builders and design did a great job on my bathroom remodel. The project took a little bit longer then expected, due to city inspector schedule.

So Cal Builders & Design Inc. A Wonderful Kitchen Remodel Experience We talked with 2 other remodeling contractors and decided to go with So Cal Builders and Design (Avi, manager/contractor). My husband and I seemed like we had instant warmth with Avi and felt like he could be trusted. He turned all of our worries about remodeling into a great experience. The price was in the middle of the other contractors, but he showed us great pictures and Avi also had great ideas and we were hooked. We picked out our cabinets, countertop, backsplash, we also had LED lights installed. Then the process started, boy was I nervous at first when they gutted the kitchen, but after a day or two I was good. Everyone that worked for Avi seems like we had a good connection with and also trusted them. Ferdi was the person that did the gutting, plumbing, painting and installing the appliances and all sorts of other things (great job Ferdi). You know once you start a remodeling there are always other unforeseen issues that pop up. Yes, they popped up with our remodeling, we found out the owners prior to us did some electrical work and it was wrong. So, we had to fix the electrical issues and also upgraded our electrical box (additional cost, but good). Simon and Usher did all of our electrical work (great job Simon). Along the way we were able to change our minds and nobody had a problem with that (at least they didn’t complain). We also decided to make changes to an existing wall by adding on a larger countertop in the kitchen. When the cabinets were installed they looked GOOD, they used excellent materials, great workmanship and the crown molding was FABULOUS. The countertops and backsplash are amazing too. Avi was always available, also with texting which made life great, didn’t matter what time he was always able to get back to us with answers to our many questions. He also was available to stop by to make sure we were happy and things were going as planned. The overall experience was fantastic. We really enjoyed the professionalism and kindness that everybody displayed, also making sure we were pleased. Now we have our new kitchen and it is BEAUTIFUL. Awesome Contractor! Avi is very good at what he does and pays close attention to detail. I especially liked his open communication as I always able to talk to him via phone or text message/email. His prices were very reasonable and the work on our house remodel was amazing! We did work on our kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom, highly recommended!

I hired Avi based on his reviews on this site and his demeanor in our initial consultation. He listened to what I had to say and was willing to go with my plans even if they would be a bit more labor intensive. He kept in constant contact throughout the project. His workers were efficient and very good at their jobs. The kitchen looks great.

I hired this company initially to provide an estimate and design recommendations for an out door kitchen. Avi, met with me and provided great recommendations that would make out door entertaining more enjoyable. Simple concepts as, which way the grill should face to location. Avi and his team were reliable, courteous and responsive.

I had a very good experience working with So Cal Builders & Design. I worked with a gentleman named Aviad who was extremely helpful. When we first met he brought samples, and ideas and was very attentive to what we wanted. He went over with us all the details, and even provided a digital preview of what our kitchen would look like after it was done! The end result was exactly like the kitchen we had planned. The cost was great, and I never felt like he was trying to make a bit more money here and there by taking short cuts. They had a pleasant staff too, and were able to finish the remodeling in a very short amount of time!

Avi was very professional and has remained so throughout the process offering prompt responses and support to our needs. The construction crew has been courteous while in our house and asked questions when unsure how we wanted details finished. Construction was able to begin immediately after contract was sign and there was no wait time. They did the design and permitting for the removal of a wall in the kitchen which went smoothly. Part of construction also entailed removing the old floor and laying down a new subfloor. This included moving a gas line. They provided many options for cabinets and counters. The quality and look of the final installation is very nice. We supplied all our own appliances, tile, sink and faucet. There were multiple times when we did not have all the right parts needed to install appliances or tile and had to do last minute runs. Luckily we were available to do so, but that may not always be the case so I would make sure you get a clear outline of what is needed on what day in advance. I'm very happy with how the kitchen came out and the service level provided. I would use So Cal Builders for future projects and recommend to others for their needs.

I searched for weeks and got a number of estimates before we decided to go with So Cal Builders & Design. They were priced midrange. Not the lowest and not the highest. We needed to fix the draining in the back yard and we added a patio from pavers. This was no easy job. I felt very comfortable with the entire team. They were on time and on budget as promised. The crew even fixed additional items that they didn't have to. Today it is rare to find a company that goes above and beyond. Customer service was excellent! The whole team was extremely professional and I never felt like they were "cutting corners". Best part is my draining problem has been resolved. I would highly recommend this company

What can be said about these guys? They did a fantastic job on my kitchen. I've worked with contractors before in Vegas when I was a developer myself. So I had some experience as to what I am looking for. So Cal Builders and Design went above and beyond in making my experience really great. They took it upon themselves to make sure that I was given a good deal. Avi took extremely good care of me, and my home while they worked. The older kitchen I had in this house was passed down from the previous residents, and they did not maintain it well. I thought I could live with it, but after 5 years of the same boring, somewhat broken, and old looking kitchen, I decided enough was enough. I'm glad my first experience with contractors in LA was such a good one. So Cal Builders are professionals in every extent!

So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!
