Bedroom - coastal bedroom idea in Philadelphia

Debby Adelman Our clients were in a rental condo and had an eat in kitchen. They love to entertain so we used their family heirloom bench and added side tables, low lighting, a bar cart, 2 poufs, and anchored it with a matching area rug that is used in the living room to bring the two spaces together. We later brought in two royal blue ceramic garden stools that the husband made to finish the space.

Living room - transitional living room idea

The other half of the Master bathroom was designed with the Husband's needs in mind. It's a spacious shower with dual showerheads (including 1 rain showerhead). You can't see it in this photo but we designed a built-in bench in the corner & a cut-out in the wall for shampoo, soap, etc.

This husband was 6'6" and the wife was 5'1". So we designed a custom height vanity for them. His side is on the left and hers is on the right. They loved traditional oak, but wanted to have a beachy feel so we found a tile that looked like sand and added some pebbles to the shower floor. The countertop is in a quartz so it has a nice blue sparkle without the maintenance of natural stone.

The client loved soft blues and greens and the husband requested a recliner. The large sectional can seat eight, a separate setting area has seating for four and the husband compromised with an Ekhornes chair and ottoman that blends seamlessly into the decor. Large scale accessory were appropriate for the volume of the room.
