Bedroom - mid-sized contemporary master dark wood floor and brown floor bedroom idea in New York with white walls and no fireplace

This project encompasses the renovation of two aging metal warehouses located on an acre just North of the 610 loop. The larger warehouse, previously an auto body shop, measures 6000 square feet and will contain a residence, art studio, and garage. A light well puncturing the middle of the main residence brightens the core of the deep building. The over-sized roof opening washes light down three masonry walls that define the light well and divide the public and private realms of the residence. The interior of the light well is conceived as a serene place of reflection while providing ample natural light into the Master Bedroom. Large windows infill the previous garage door openings and are shaded by a generous steel canopy as well as a new evergreen tree court to the west. Adjacent, a 1200 sf building is reconfigured for a guest or visiting artist residence and studio with a shared outdoor patio for entertaining. Photo by Peter Molick, Art by Karin Broker

This custom keyhole raised veggie bed was installed in place of the owners' original in-ground veggie bed. Made from gorgeous red cedar with built-in trellis support, it is much more beautiful and more convenient and accessible than the original bed.

Our original Iron and Brass Sleigh Bed. Decorative accents are cast by hand directly onto the iron framework in the traditional manner. The crest rail and decorative turning are pure, solid brass in our exclusive antique vintage white finish. Available as a bed or headboard only.

Customer was originally interested in a raised deck but for a relatively similar cost we gave him a raised paver patio framed up by retaining wall block, which were also used to provide a sitting wall. Plantings were also added..

The original sloped front yard became 4 flat planting beds via the construction of 4 semi-circular buff strip stone retaining walls.
The planting area closest to the road is sloped to allow proper water runoff.

A newly finished basement apartment in one of Portland’s gorgeous historic homes was a beautiful canvas for ATIID to create a warm, welcoming guest house. Area rugs provided rich texture, pattern and color inspiration for each room. Comfortable furnishings, cozy beds and thoughtful touches welcome guests for any length of stay. Our Signature Cocktail Table and Perfect Console and Cubes are showcased in the living room, and an extraordinary original work by Molly Cliff-Hilts pulls the warm color palette to the casual dining area. Custom window treatments offer texture and privacy. We provided every convenience for guests, from luxury layers of bedding and plenty of fluffy white towels to a kitchen stocked with the home chef’s every desire. Welcome home!

A classic 1922 California bungalow in the historic Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles restored and enlarged by Tim Braseth of ArtCraft Homes completed in 2015. Originally a 2 bed/1 bathroom cottage, it was enlarged with the addition of a new kitchen wing and master suite for a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Original vintage details such as a Batchelder tile fireplace and Douglas Fir flooring are complemented by an all-new vintage-style kitchen with butcher block countertops, hex-tiled bathrooms with beadboard wainscoting, original clawfoot tub, subway tile master shower, and French doors leading to a redwood deck overlooking a fully-fenced and gated backyard. The new en suite master retreat features a vaulted ceiling, walk-in closet, and French doors to the backyard deck. Remodeled by ArtCraft Homes. Staged by ArtCraft Collection. The 1,750-square foot Manhattan Beach bungalow is home to two humans and three dogs. Originally built in 1929, the bungalow had undergone various renovations that convoluted its original Moorish style. We gutted the home and completely updated both the interior and exterior. We opened the floor plan, rebuilt the ceiling with reclaimed hand-hewn oak beams and created hand-troweled plaster walls that mimicked the construction and look of the original walls. We also rebuilt the living room fireplace by hand, brick-by-brick, and replaced the generic roof tiles with antique handmade clay tiles.
We returned much of this 3-bed, 2-bath home to a more authentic aesthetic, while adding modern touches of luxury, like radiant-heated floors, bi-fold doors that open from the kitchen/dining area to a large deck, and a custom steam shower, with Moroccan-inspired tile and an antique mirror. The end result is evocative luxury in a compact space.

A large ceramic vase with beautiful glazing serves as a centerpiece to this garden bed. The installation included an AquaBox that turns a static vase into a water fountain that adds subtle motion and calming sounds to this garden.
