Morgante Wilson Architects incorporated windows that enhanced the beauty and functionality of natural daylight. The family room, with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean, reflects casual coastal living. Weathered candlesticks, jute, and coral all nod to the sea, while the blue spindle occasional chairs give the room a traditional balance and a pop of color. Signature Design Interiors enjoyed transforming this family’s traditional basement into a modern family space for watching sports and movies that could also double as the perfect setting for entertaining friends and guests. Multiple comfortable seating areas were needed and a complete update to all the finishes, from top to bottom, was required. A classy color palette of platinum, champagne, and smoky gray ties all of the spaces together, while geometric shapes and patterns add pops of interest. Every surface was touched, from the flooring to the walls and ceilings and all new furnishings were added. One of the most traditional architectural features in the existing space was the red brick fireplace, accent wall and arches. We painted those white and gave it a distressed finish. Berber carpeting was replaced with an engineered wood flooring with a weathered texture, which is easy to maintain and clean. In the television viewing area, a microfiber sectional is accented with a series of hexagonal tables that have been grouped together to form a multi-surface coffee table with depth, creating an unexpected focal point to the room. A rich leather accent chair and luxe area rug with a modern floral pattern ties in the overall color scheme. New geometric patterned window treatments provide the perfect frame for the wall mounted flat screen television. Oval table lamps in a brushed silver finish add not only light, but also tons of style. Just behind the sofa, there is a custom designed console table with built-in electrical and USB outlets that is paired with leather stools for additional seating when needed. Floor outlets were installed under the sectional in order to get power to the console table. How’s that for charging convenience? Behind the TV area and beside the bar is a small sitting area. It had an existing metal pendant light, which served as a source of design inspiration to build upon. Here, we added a table for games with leather chairs that compliment those at the console table. The family’s sports memorabilia is featured on the walls and the floor is punctuated with a fantastic area rug that brings in our color theme and a dramatic geometric pattern. We are so pleased with the results and wish our clients many years of cheering on their favorite sports teams, watching movies, and hosting great parties in their new modern basement!

Moments of turquoise and aqua blue, sprinkled throughout this living room, create the perfect space to sit, relax or socialize. Four chairs covered in a graphic, ivory and beige geometric print surround a black resin and metallic gold cocktail table. Side tables hold turquoise lamps with gold detailing. The ivory chenille sofa with gold velvet welt grounds the open layout. Graphic pillows in shades of blues and greens add color to the neutral setting. Behind the sofa is a traditional consoled topped with glass and gold hurricanes and celadon stacked bowls. Finishing the look is a sisal rug adding just the right amount of texture.

Full Furnishing and Styling Service - Maximizing seating for the client’s social life was a must in this cozy town home. The large sectional and additional seating in front of the television create an inviting conversation area for game nights and movie nights. Behind the sectional, the two console tables and ottomans can be rearranged and pushed together to create an impromptu dining space. Utilizing every inch of this space allows the client to truly enjoy her home to its full potential.

Sofa with a particular strap system in the backrest, enabling a flexion up to 2'' inches for a perfect ergonomics and moments of pure relaxation. Elements upholstered in completely removable fabric, elements upholstered in leather with cushions having removable covers and structure with non removable covers. - MATCH SIDE TABLE. Elegant side tables, in square or rectangular versions, and other elements comprising a bookcase, may be positioned in various manners around the sofa to perform a number of functions, such as: enclosing the seating area, substituting the corner module of the sofa, for positioning between one seating element and another, standing beside the armrest or behind the backrest to become a sofa back furnishing element, or transforming modular seating into dinner sofas. Moreover, all elements may be accessorized with useful trays, for positioning when and where they are needed. Small tables, Consoles, Sofa-back element and bookcase elements for armrest side and sofa back in Canaletto walnut. Auxiliary Table: 26''W x 26''5/8D x 26''5/8H. Sofa-back element: 78''3/4W x 12''5/8D x 26''5/8H. - MIAMI LOUNGE CHAIR. Miami is a chair without frontiers. Its fabric, woven in varying consistencies, is padded for seating and structured for containing, while also tracing a free and easy, yet comfortable graphic design. The fabric weave executed in bands creates the necessary volume to contain the padding, in what amounts to a new spatial concept. Armchair with pearl white metal frame and bright blue or grey-brown elastic bands. Chair cover in dove grey or neutral fabric and backrest cushions in jacquard, prince of wales checks and interwoven fabric. Endowed with a round swivel base, its spacious seat and two lumbar cushions, one large and another smaller one, guarantee maximum comfort. 38''1/8W x 31''1/2D x 35''1/2H.

This adorable beach cottage is in the heart of the village of La Jolla in San Diego. The goals were to brighten up the space and be the perfect beach get-away for the client whose permanent residence is in Arizona. Some of the ways we achieved the goals was to place an extra high custom board and batten in the great room and by refinishing the kitchen cabinets (which were in excellent shape) white. We created interest through extreme proportions and contrast. Though there are a lot of white elements, they are all offset by a smaller portion of very dark elements. We also played with texture and pattern through wallpaper, natural reclaimed wood elements and rugs. This was all kept in balance by using a simplified color palate minimal layering. I am so grateful for this client as they were extremely trusting and open to ideas. The open plan Living and Dining spaces inspired us to use a low-back tufted sofa as a room divider with a console table behind it that can be used as a buffet when hosting dinner.
