The open plan Living and Dining spaces inspired us to use a low-back tufted sofa as a room divider with a console table behind it that can be used as a buffet when hosting dinner. Behind your sofa with a pair of lamps, or against a wall showcasing your collection of rare Mayan artifacts, our Biscayne Collection console table is a choice selection. The wood top has a rustic Bicayne Weathered finish and a raised edge all around, and with the appearance of floating above the golden linear metal base, an ideal selection alone or when used with the matching cocktail and end tables.

Often we can float a sofa or sectional in a room, then have no place for a lamp.Try using a lamp behind the sofa on a console table. A narrow sofa table is the perfect spot for a table lamp. Consider the width of the table. You don't want the shade to be wider than the table because it will get knocked over .You can also use a rectangular table lamp instead of a round shaded lamp. A pharmacy lamp works well as they usually have narrow metal shades that can swing over the back of the sofa creating task lighting, and good reading light.

At the foyer, a modern console table made of glass, stainless steel and slices of wood log welcome to the open living room. Above the modern console table a round mirror in gold and silver leaf add light and reflection. On the opposite wall, a stunning mural wallpaper creates the focal point of this modern living room. Featuring an abstract pattern in golden yellow, rust and slate. This mural is the backdrop behind the modern Italian design white leather sectional. The coffee table is made of reclaimed railway wood and stainless steel. Around this living room swivel lounge chairs upholstered in yellow faux leather add the pop of color to this scheme. A combination of sheer and Neolux Shades compose the custom made window treatments. All furniture, furnishings and accessories were provided by MH2G Furniture. The table shown is 72" long x 24" wide x 36" high and with 3" overhand on each end (standard on each table), but I can build a table to almost any size desired.
