A modern-meets-vintage farmhouse-style tiny house designed and built by Parlour & Palm in Portland, Oregon. This adorable space may be small, but it is mighty, and includes a kitchen, bathroom, living room, sleeping loft, and outdoor deck. Many of the features - including cabinets, shelves, hardware, lighting, furniture, and outlet covers - are salvaged and recycled.

Engineered pre-cast concrete block retaining walls allow for outdoor access on both levels of the barn. A staircase down the hill is built using the wall caps as pre-cast treads and poured-in-place concrete for landings.

This project provided access to a secondary door and mechanical area while creating an aesthetically pleasing patio are complete with opportunity for plantings. In addition, the concrete material is long lasting and lower in maintenance costs.
