Marie Antoinette Inspired Bedroom for little girl. with custom balloon window treatments and whimsical wallpaper.
Wanted something bold to ground the space and pattern to add visual interest. The pattern for the area rug is larger scale than the wallpaper to keep it from competing with it. Also the color has a tad more modern approach to a traditional rug.

Mid-sized trendy powder room photo in Los Angeles with black cabinets, blue walls, a drop-in sink, marble countertops and white countertops

The family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.

Mid-sized eclectic 3/4 light wood floor and brown floor bathroom photo in Richmond with furniture-like cabinets, blue walls and an undermount sink

A dining room with impact! This is the first room one sees when entering this home, so impact was important. Blue flamestitch wallcovering above a 7 feet high wainscoting blends with leather side chairs and blue velvet captain's chairs. The custom dining table is walnut with a brass base. Anchoring the area is a modern patterned gray area rug and a brass and glass sputnik light fixture crowns the tray ceiling.

Completed in 2015, this project incorporates a Scandinavian vibe to enhance the modern architecture and farmhouse details. The vision was to create a balanced and consistent design to reflect clean lines and subtle rustic details, which creates a calm sanctuary. The whole home is not based on a design aesthetic, but rather how someone wants to feel in a space, specifically the feeling of being cozy, calm, and clean. This home is an interpretation of modern design without focusing on one specific genre; it boasts a midcentury master bedroom, stark and minimal bathrooms, an office that doubles as a music den, and modern open concept on the first floor. It’s the winner of the 2017 design award from the Austin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and has been on the Tribeza Home Tour; in addition to being published in numerous magazines such as on the cover of Austin Home as well as Dwell Magazine, the cover of Seasonal Living Magazine, Tribeza, Rue Daily, HGTV, Hunker Home, and other international publications.
