Georgia Coast Design & Construction - Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home at St. Simons Island, GA Built on a one-acre, lakefront lot on the north end of St. Simons Island, the Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home is characterized as Old World European featuring exterior finishes of Mosstown brick and Old World stucco, Weathered Wood colored designer shingles, cypress beam accents and a handcrafted Mahogany door. Inside the three-bedroom, 2,400-square-foot showcase home, Old World rustic and modern European style blend with high craftsmanship to create a sense of timeless quality, stability, and tranquility. Behind the scenes, energy efficient technologies combine with low maintenance materials to create a home that is economical to maintain for years to come. The home's open floor plan offers a dining room/kitchen/great room combination with an easy flow for entertaining or family interaction. The interior features arched doorways, textured walls and distressed hickory floors.

This dining room showcases an elegant chandelier with glamorous crystal detailing, which hangs above a dining table with a chrome base and a round glass top. The dining chairs flaunt different fabrics on the back and seat, both in a silvery gray but with slightly contrasting patterns. Two pastel floral arrangements in jagged glass vases stand on a white wooden sideboard with crystal pulls. The light gray area rug was custom-made.

In the dining room we installed 3-D wall tiles that mimic the shapes found on the tracery ceiling in the adjacent family room. Quintessential Home For Luxe Living Spire partnered up with Moceri and built the Villa Cortile, one of the homes in the Pinnacle subdivision in Oakland Township, MI. The home features a grand circular dining room that leads to a cozy library/wine room at one end and a bar and two pantries at the other. It includes two French balconies that overlook the pool. A master suite wing with a separate sitting room warmed by a two-way fireplace, which is centered on the floating tub in the spa bath. It also includes a lower level that opens directly to the swimming pool and hot tub. This home was featured in the Ultimate Homearama in 2014. An event that provide visitors with the ultimate in luxury home living, design trends and ideas that are attainable in their own home.

Living room - contemporary living room idea

One of the wall mounted electric fireplace placements in the living room is above the couch. Fireplace hung above the couch makes a great focal point and creates a comfortable warm atmosphere in the couch area so that you and your guests would feel cozy and comfy even on colder days.

We were called in to update this living and dining area for a family of four in central Kirkland. The space had great bones but just needed more personality, color, textures, and patterns. Our goal was to make sure it reflects our clients’ eclectic tastes, showcases some of their amazing travel photography, and is a representation of who they are: a diverse multicultural family.

A room that feels both fashionable and welcoming is created by the furniture's clean lines and colorful accents. The luxurious velvet armchair looks like a very cozy place to curl up with a nice book. The neutral color palette of the walls and furniture, along with the lack of clutter, contributes to a feeling of peace and tranquility. This sense of calm might be amplified by the presence of the plant, which can have a biophilic effect, promoting feelings of relaxation and well-being. The abstract painting adds a touch of whimsy and personality to the space. It suggests that the inhabitants of this living room aren't afraid to express themselves and might have a creative side. Overall, the feeling of the living room seems like a balance between modern design and a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
