This kitchen was part of a significant remodel to the entire home. Our client, having remodeled several kitchens previously, had a high standard for this project. The result is stunning. Using earthy, yet industrial and refined details simultaneously, the combination of design elements in this kitchen is fashion forward and fresh. Project specs: Viking 36” Range, Sub Zero 48” Pro style refrigerator, custom marble apron front sink, cabinets by Premier Custom-Built in a tone on tone milk paint finish, hammered steel brackets.

A beautiful transitional design was created by removing the range and microwave and adding a cooktop, under counter oven and hood. The microwave was relocated and an under counter microwave was incorporated into the design. These appliances were moved to balance the design and create a perfect symmetry. Additionally the small appliances, coffee maker, blender and toaster were incorporated into the pantries to keep them hidden and the tops clean. The walls were removed to create a great room concept that not only makes the kitchen a larger area but also transmits an inviting design appeal. The master bath room had walls removed to accommodate a large double vanity. Toilet and shower was relocated to recreate a better design flow. Products used were Miralis matte shaker white cabinetry. Relocating plumbing is not always practical because of space, budget or conditions concealed within the walls. Here, the existing tub and plumbing needed to remain, so the challenge was to make the compact bathroom feel brighter and more spacious. A portion of the wall beside the tub was removed and replaced with frameless glass, allowing natural light to travel through the room and opening the sightline without changing the original layout. A marble-clad divider provides a finished transition while coordinating with the other stone details throughout the bathroom.
