Window treatments can go a long way toward boosting your home’s energy efficiency, keeping you comfortable. That’s because compared to insulated walls and ceilings, windows easily allow more heat to escape from a room in winter and more heat to enter a room in summer.
In fact, without energy-efficient window coverings, a home can lose up to 30% of heating and cooling energy through its windows, according to the Department of Energy.

The new galley style configuration features a simple work triangle of a Kitchenaid refrigerator, Wolf range and Elkay sink. With plenty of the seating nearby, we opted to utilize the back of the island for storage. In addition, the two tall cabinets flanking the opening of the breakfast room feature additional pantry storage. An appliance garage to the left of the range features roll out shelves.
The tall cabinets and wall cabinets feature simple white shaker doors while the base cabinets and island are Benjamin Moore “Hale Navy”. Hanstone Campina quartz countertops, walnut accents and gold hardware and lighting make for a stylish and up-to-date feeling space.
The backsplash is a 5" Natural Stone hex. Faucet is a Litze by Brizo in Brilliant Luxe Gold. Hardware is It Pull from Atlas in Vintage Brass and Lighting was purchased by the owner from Schoolhouse Electric.

What a fun children's loft! The bottom hosts a cozy reading nook to hang out for some quiet time, or for chatting with the girls. The turquoise walls are amazing, and the white trim with pops of bright pink decor are perfect. What child would not LOVE to have this in their room? Fun fun fun! The homeowners desired an outdoor space that felt more rustic than their refined interior spaces, but still related architecturally to their house. Cement plaster support arbor columns provide enough of visual tie to the existing house exterior. Oversized wood beams and rafter members provide a unique outdoor atmosphere. Structural bolts and hardware were minimized for a cleaner appearance. Structural connections and supports were engineered to meet California's stringent earthquake standards.

First things first…this renovation was certainly a labor of love for everyone involved, from our amazing clients, to the contractors, vendors and us, this project consumed all of us and the outcome is more than Gorgeous. This contemporary home is nestled back in a a great area of St Louis County. A brick ranch with contemporary touches…once adorned glass blocked bar and stairwell, a tiny galley kitchen and a remodeled garage that once housed their “dining and hearth room” but no one ever used that space.
CURE Senior Designer, Cori Dyer took this space, completely and brilliantly re worked the configuration and entire floor plan and layout. Tearing out the dividing wall from the kitchen and what was once the garage, allowed the new kitchen layout to be flipped to the now long perpendicular wall, and created an open mega kitchen with great natural light, double islands, eat in kitchen and seating area, bar and open the great room. You can stand among the space at any point and are able to take in the entire view.
Creating an uber chic space doesn’t happen on its own…it takes intricate design, research and planning. Custom made cabinets, a double island featuring two surfaces a butcher block and unforgettable marble. This clean color palette plays well with the new custom furniture in the great room, creating a seating area that sparks conversations.

This creative transitional space was transformed from a very dated layout that did not function well for our homeowners - who enjoy cooking for both their family and friends. They found themselves cooking on a 30" by 36" tiny island in an area that had much more potential. A completely new floor plan was in order. An unnecessary hallway was removed to create additional space and a new traffic pattern. New doorways were created for access from the garage and to the laundry. Just a couple of highlights in this all Thermador appliance professional kitchen are the 10 ft island with two dishwashers (also note the heated tile area on the functional side of the island), double floor to ceiling pull-out pantries flanking the refrigerator, stylish soffited area at the range complete with burnished steel, niches and shelving for storage. Contemporary organic pendants add another unique texture to this beautiful, welcoming, one of a kind kitchen! Photos by David Cobb Photography.

Wow...what a unique, stunning & absolutely brilliant bathroom! Andrea Schumacher Interiors nailed it with this bathroom remodel. Using the oh-so popular navy blue above the chair rail and a unique woven rattan below, the space offers an abundant amount of interest!

Clean cut, modern, and magnificent!
Rochon custom made black flat panel cabinets and center island set the tone for this open and airy contemporary kitchen and great room. The island lights add a touch of whimsical . The kitchen also features an extra large Frigidaire refrigerator and freezer and wall oven.
