Our client wanted a traditional Venetian Plaster in her garden room that was filled with tropical plants. And of course, she wanted it in her favorite color, denim blue. Veneziano is the most traditional Venetian Plaster finish, and dates from the Renaissance period, when Venetian architects and designers were looking for ways to give their buildings the same elegance as the buildings on the mainland, but without the weight of using stone blocks and slabs. At the Ferguson home we did a full stair remodel. Much of the existing stairs were removed to make way for new oak treads, our Pescheria pattern of wrought iron balusters in our Midnight Bronze powder coated finish, and refinished newels and handrails. The transformation took a mundane stairway to a whole new level.

A beautiful hand loomed pure wool carpeting was used on this project. This subtle pattern can be used in a modern or transitional space. The dark hardwood floor relates nicely with the Taupe, White and Grey colors in the carpet. Our fabrication team used a complimentary color in a cotton binding material to complete the sides. Our installer completed this staircase install within a two day time frame. Wool carpet is a great choice for a staircase because it is an easy material to clean, stain resistant and flame retardant.
