An old stone mansion built in 1924 had seen a number of renovations over the decades and the time had finally come to address a growing list of issues. All of the home’s bathrooms needed to be fully gutted and completely redone. In the master bathroom, we took this opportunity to rearrange the layout to incorporate a double vanity and relocate the toilet (the former bathroom had only a small single vanity with the toilet awkwardly located directly in front of the door). The bathtub was replaced with a generous walk-in shower complete with frameless glass and digital controls. We located a towel warmer immediately outside the shower to provide toasty towels within easy reach. A beautiful Calacatta and Bardigiglio Gray basketweave tile was used in combination with various sizes of Calacatta marble field tile and trim for a look that is both elegant and timeless.

Marble-looking quartz was the perfect choice for this all-white kitchen space in Little Falls, New Jersey. A distinct Calacatta marble-look, even more so. Bright, clean, and clear white base, along with dramatic, gray veining. Calacatta Zion is one of those Calacatta-looking quartz options that take your breath away with ease. The Kitchen, made of lacquered sycamore, opens to the Family Room which is paneled with the same wood. The Calacatta Marble counters add to the lightness of the space. with virtually no appliances showing (other than the wall ovens) the Kitchen becomes an extension of the Family Room it adjoins. Nestled on a corner lot in the Madrona neighborhood, we chose to exploit the abundance of natural light in this 1905 home. We worked with Board & Vellum to remodel this residence from the dining and living rooms to the kitchen and powder room. Our client loved bold rich colors, perfect in combination with the natural lighting of the home. We used blue hues throughout, mirroring the palette in the details of the accessories and artwork. We balanced the deep shades in the kitchen with coastal grey quartz and honed Calacatta Marble backsplash, extending from the countertop to the ceiling. Filling the main space with comfortable furniture married with a collection of colors, textures, and patterns proved for cohesive balanced style. About these photos: The cabinetry is Mastro Rosolino- our private line of cabinets. The cabinets on the perimeter are painted white, the island is walnut with a stain & glaze. The tops are Honed Dandy Marble by Stone Surfaces in East Rutherford, NJ. The backsplash is "MOS" pattern "Manilla" in marble, the butler's pantry is "art" antiqued mirror in diamond pattern with brushed nickel rosettes overlaid at the corners. The mosaic rug above the stove is calacatta oro, timber grey & lagos blue. Tile by Stratta Tile in Wyckoff, NJ. The flooring was handled by the home owner, it is a hardwood with a medium/dark stain. The appliances are: Sub-Zero BI36R/O & BI36F/O, Wolf 48" Range DF486G, Wolf 30" DO30F/S, Miele DW, GE ZEM200SF microwave, Wolf 30" warming drawer, Sub-Zero 27" warming drawers. The main sink is a 30" Rohl Farm Sink. All lighting fixtures, chairs, other items in the kitchen were purchased separately by the home owner so we have no information on file!
