This is a modern take on a classic garden. The paving was designed with precision and then softened with lush planting. Two distinct spaces, a dining area and lounging spot, are delineated with herringbone pavers and linked by a flagstone walk. The walk takes the edge of the design’s geometry and avoids a sense of monotony that might result from repetition of the larger spaces’ paving pattern. Star jasmine and climbing roses soften the walls bordering the space, and citrus trees and herbs fill and spill over the planting beds. Photo by Martin Cox

View with two birds and flowers from the hand-painted mural inspired by chinoiserie wallpaper designs! My client, Daniela Nuilla, at Mint Decor Miami, wanted a blend of chinoiserie motifs with plants, flowers, birds, and butterflies. The mural was painted on a Deep Jungle Green wall.

Ceramic Urn water fountain as garden feature. Basin and pump purchased and installed. Decorative Mexican Beach pebbles cover and allow water-saving recirculation. Container pot provides endless choices when Outside InStyle designs that perfect water feature for your outdoor space.

Moderate growing; reaches 20 to 25 ft. tall, 10 to 15 ft. wide. Full sun. Evergreen tree with pyramidal shape and smaller, dark green foliage with a rusty brown underside. 'Little Gem' has a very compact narrow form, making it useful for smaller gardens. It blooms at a very young age with primary bloom is in late spring then sporadic blooming throughout the summer. Large white flowers are fragrant and showy. 'Little Gem' is a popular choice for Georgia gardens.
