This Foyer had to be a show stopper. It's the first thing you see when you enter this custom built, 12,000 square foot home. The marble border in the foyer was made to custom fit this space, with 3 different colors of marble, perfectly complementing the carrara tile. The gray painted and applied moulding clad walls complement the hand applied silver leaf ceiling. The Aerin Lauder Chandelier from Circa lighting shines beautifully in this space. A clean and modern entertainment center showcasing floating cabinets and shelves made out of the same man-made porcelain used in the kitchen. The grass paper wall finishing and LED lighting add sophistication and a subtle illumination of decor placed on the shelves. Home located in Chicago's North Side. Designed by Chi Renovations & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. A small bathroom is given a clean, bright, and contemporary look. Storage was key to this design, so we made sure to give our clients plenty of hidden space throughout the room. We installed a full-height linen closet which, thanks to the pull-out shelves, stays conveniently tucked away as well as vanity with U-shaped drawers, perfect for storing smaller items. The shower also provides our clients with storage opportunity, with two large shower niches - one with four built-in glass shelves. For a bit of sparkle and contrast to the all-white interior, we added a copper glass tile accent to the second niche. Mr. and Mrs. Eades, the owners of this Chicago home, were inspired to build a Kalamazoo outdoor kitchen because of their love of cooking. “The grill became the center point for doing our outdoor kitchen,” Mr. Eades noted. After working long days, Mr. Eades and his wife, prefer to experiment with new recipes in the comfort of their own home. The Hybrid Fire Grill is the focal point of this compact outdoor kitchen. Weather-tight cabinetry was built into the masonry for storage, and an Artisan Fire Pizza Oven sits atop the countertop and allows the Eades’ to cook restaurant quality Neapolitan style pizzas in their own backyard.
