A retro 1950’s kitchen featuring green custom colored cabinets with glass door mounts, under cabinet lighting, pullout drawers, and Lazy Susans. To contrast with the green we added in red window treatments, a toaster oven, and other small red polka dot accessories. A few final touches we made include a retro fridge, retro oven, retro dishwasher, an apron sink, light quartz countertops, a white subway tile backsplash, and retro tile flooring. Home located in Humboldt Park Chicago. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who also serve the Chicagoland area and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. The water feature has a 15'6" x 6'0" footprint, and raises 10'0" in the air to provide a beautiful and mellifluous cascase of water. Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional u-shaped ceramic tile and white floor eat-in kitchen remodel in Chicago with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, gray cabinets, quartz countertops, white backsplash, ceramic backsplash, stainless steel appliances, no island and white countertops

Combining modern with rustic was the end goal of these homeowners. Choosing gray barn siding to panel the wall, white leather sofas, and painting the ceiling rafters black give this room elegance and warmth. Using reclaimed wood to hide the two columns was the final piece of this rooms makeover.

The variation of gray color creates a cohesive vibe in these dining and living room areas and the floor to ceiling display shelf isn't the only entertaining aspect of the space. The bar is an easily accessible surface for serving food and drinks while guests take a closer look at your collection.
