The main concept is to design an iconic building to meet the functional needs, taking into consideration the challenge of the project location which is at one of the most important commercial streets in Cairo. In addition to its presence on the axis directed from the downtown “The River Nile”, which enforced the necessity of the design in the form of being a hollow cylinder from inside. this opening is facing the main street in the near scale (human scale) where the mass start from the gradient of three meters high and included with circumvent anti-clockwise until it reaches the top of the building at height of 100 meter to face the upcoming movement from the downtown (far scale) and overlook the building to The River Nile as a an important visual sight. I called this project when I submitted to the committee of graduation “Invest in Green" and I presented in green background to emphasize the importance of green buildings. Potting mixes for container gardens need to drain freely, but still retain moisture. My base potting soil mix contains (clockwise from upper left) coarse builder's sand, high-quality organic compost or worm castings, coconut coir, and small lava rock. Inspiration for a transitional exterior home remodel in Chicago

Our clients were looking to build an income property for use as a short term rental in their backyard. In order to keep maximize the available space on a limited footprint, we designed the ADU around a spiral staircase leading up to the loft bedroom. The vaulted ceiling gives the small space a much larger appearance. To provide privacy for both the renters and the homeowners, the ADU was set apart from the house with its own private entrance. The design of the ADU was done with local Pacific Northwest aesthetics in mind, including green exterior paint and a mixture of woodgrain and metal fixtures for the interior. Durability was a major concern for the homeowners. In order to minimize potential damages from renters, we selected quartz countertops and waterproof flooring. We also used a high-quality interior paint that will stand the test of time and clean easily. The end result of this project was exactly what the client was hoping for, and the rental consistently receives 5-star reviews on Airbnb.

This kitchen was opened up to aloo for more light, as well as a feel of more space. We created a custom island area, with stained wood to help blend the rest of the home into the highly modern, kitchen. Raising the cabinet line to the ceiling line, make the space look taller and therefore, bigger than it really is.
