The Maya Collection is a modular seating system comprising of a number of pieces that can be configured in multiple variations, allowing for endless possibilities of composition and dimension. Highly versatile and scalable, it is ideal for large public spaces such as the open areas by the poolside, loggia, or smaller configurations to fit a terrace or veranda. The pieces can be easily and quickly rearranged to fit the space, function or event, making it as intimate or as large scaled as necessary. The pieces can be made into configurations as simple as a love seat or large daybed, to large seating configurations that can be made to accommodate “parties” large or small. The low profile of its modular design with wide (6") wrap around armrest provides functionality with ample space for drinks yet sturdy enough to be sat or leaned on, a feature that many will find readily appealing for casual parties and events.

We are more than steel buildings. In fact, when a customer wants a building with style that really stands out is when our experienced Building Representatives along with the PermaBilt® team are most productive; It’s where some of our best ideas come from. So when our Camino Island customer wanted to build a garage with style that matched the look and feel of his home the team put their collective heads together and went through numerous design iterations with the sole purpose of satisfying their customer. The winning design was a Lean-To design with 18” overhangs on the sides and back and a 24” overhang on the front all enclosed with T&G Pine We used HardiePlank® Cedarmill 6” Lap siding and a 26 gauge 16" wide standing seam roof to match the house. The look was finished with a custom roll up door with frosted glass panels. The final product brought the style of his custom home to his car’s home and left everyone truly satisfied.

Plus, because quartz surfacing is non-porous, it is inherently less susceptible to fostering bacteria—an important trait in a damp environment. In line with today's contemporary-leaning bath designs, these countertops have sleek profiles with few seams, which also adds to their low-maintenance appeal. Large-format tiles lend an air of luxury, particularly when paired with natural stone and stone-look materials. AV Architects + Builders Forest Villa House - Mclean, VA 1528 Forrest Villa is situated in the heart of McLean, VA in a well-established neighborhood. This unique site is perfect for this modern house design because it sits at the top of a hill and has a grand view of the landscape. We have designed a home that feels like a retreat but offers all the amenities a family needs to keep up with the fast pace of Northern VA. The house offers over 8,200 sqft of luxury living area on three finished levels. The main level is an open-concept floor plan designed to entertain. The central area is the great room and the kitchen separated by a two-sided fireplace, but it’s surrounded by a very generous dining room, a study with custom built-ins and an outdoor covered patio with another gas fireplace. We also have a functional mudroom with a powder room right-off the 3-car garage with plenty of storage. The open stair case anchors the front elevation of the home to the front porch and the site. By completely reconfiguring the space, relocating appliances and adding an island, this kitchen now has more work surface and lots of storage for cooking utensils, spices, specialty oils & even an area to display some of their wine collection. With leathered stone countertops, energy saving induction cooktop, a custom wine cabinet and all LED lighting, this contemporary kitchen now lends itself to multiple cooks and, most importantly, my clients love their new kitchen! As serious wine collectors, they felt it would be nice to have an area to display and store a few select bottles of wine, although most of the collection is stored elsewhere. While it is usually just the two of them, they enjoy entertaining and have children and family come to visit quite a bit, so space to move about was important. Their style leans toward contemporary, nothing fussy & with very clean lines—they prefer a linear, symmetrical look so the stylized Shaker cabinets were ideal. They prefer natural surfaces, therefore the leathered granite countertops, glass backsplash & hardwood flooring were a perfect fit. This kitchen gets great sunlight during the day but was in dire need of light at night.
