Completely remodeled the inside of the traditional church to make it more modern by closing in the stained glass windows with plaster and paint; revamping the stage to make more room for the musicians; adding sound absorbing panels, new sound equipment, high tech color changing LED lighting and fixtures witch include spot lights, rope lighting along the side wall sconces and large hanging pendants; new carpet in the main area and tile floors in the vestibule/common area were installed and the pews were replaced with comfortable and sound absorbing individual interlocking chairs.

Every front and side lawn as well as all common areas continue to be maintained on a weekly basis by a private landscape maintenance company. This perpetual maintenance provided through the Homeowner’s Association insures a constant harmonious look throughout the entire community. From day one, several development principles were established and achieved: • The development’s concept was designed with all water front lots facing into Rankin’s Lake to have the street running between the homes and the lake. With this concept, it allows all of the neighborhood residents and their guest to take advantage of the pathways as well as enjoy to natural scenery of the lake each time the upon entering and exiting the neighborhood. This became a positive selling point as it encouraged the selection of building sites deeper into the development once you passed the lake. • The design concept of the development was to create a variation of the traditional home neighborhood where the homes, all with front porches are intentionally built closer to the sidewalk lined streets to encourage neighborly interaction. • Plans were designed with the garages at the rear of the lot as to make the neighborhood less about cars and more about the home and it’s residents. This was prioritized due to many subdivisions today are designed in such a way the home’s primary feature is a front facing garage which often have two cars in the driveway… hence, Stonebridge at Rankin’s Lake want to provide an alternative. • Each home design includes a spacious front porch, a screened porch and or a sunroom to encourage neighborly interaction and casual living. • The floor plans include both 2 and 3 bedroom plans with 2 to 3.5 baths with all master suites remaining on the main level. The entire development would have only Energy Star Certified homes.

Appleton natural thin stone veneer from the Quarry Mill adds color and texture variation to the exterior of this beautiful home. Appleton thin stone veneer is cut from natural Wisconsin granite. The raw stone was deposited years ago as glaciers moved through the state. The stone is unearthed as large boulders the size of a suv and is then broken down via our splitting and sawing processes to make the finished thin veneer. Appleton has shades of soft red, off white, greys and blues. The stone is considered a fieldledge style with its mix of linear type stone blended with mosaic irregular pieces. Appleton is a versatile stone and fits well on both large and small projects. The stone is shown with a standard half-inch grey raked mortar joint between the individual pieces. This is the most common installation method, however, other joint options and mortar colors can be used.

Our clients came to us with dreams of hosting large family gatherings surrounded by a welcoming yet elegant Farmhouse setting. Their wish list included natural woods and traditional Georgian details to infuse warmth and character into their home. At RCID, we don’t typically take on commercial projects—but when a returning client invited us to reimagine the lobby of their condo building at 225 25th Ave SW in Calgary, we couldn’t resist the opportunity. In collaboration with Crafted Edge Homes, we set out to bring a warmer, more residential feel to the common spaces of Riverscape, transforming them into areas that welcome residents home. The lobby received a complete refresh, including new tile, paint, vertical wood slats at the entry, upgraded signage, and a custom staircase feature that adds both visual interest and flow. Every floor above was painted using a unique technique to subtly draw attention to individual doors, giving each level its own personality while maintaining cohesion throughout the building.

Ellsworth natural stone veneer is a beautifully neutral New England granite. The stone has deep rich tones with subtle natural weathering. Having been split with a hydraulic press this thin stone veneer has a rough texture. Ellsworth has predominantly grey tones with some gold and tan. The stone is castle rock style and characterized by the large rectangular pieces of stone. This style is also referred to as square-rectangular or square-rec for short. Nestled on the shore of New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee, is a family’s winter ski retreat. Contrary to the norm, this vacation home sees more use in the winter months than in the summer season. Breathtaking views of Mount Washington against a backdrop of shoreline dominate the scene; this vista was a driving force in the decision-making process. Doors and windows on the lakeside of the house were enlarged and expanded on to enhance the owners’ appreciation of their vantage point. The homeowners embraced, with a bit of convincing, a dark blue trim color for the exterior rather than the ubiquitous forest green common in the White Mountains. What began as a small renovation project morphed into a full renovation; the location warranted the upgrade. The client’s trust in the design team resulted in a home that is unique: contemporary while still offering the warmth and coziness of a winter retreat. The introduction of soft wood tones, a custom copper kitchen hood, and a warm muted color palate for interior trim and doors brings a coziness to the space without evoking a mountain ski lodge. The materials chosen further enhanced the natural elements of the site location: organic features include an antler chandelier, salvaged wood throughout for the mantel, ceilings, stair newels, and interior barn doors, and a live edge built-in bench in the mudroom. Spaces were designed to encourage family interaction and togetherness. The importance of solitude was thoughtfully crafted into the architecture and interiors of the family’s vacation home. SV Design made sure there were spaces where individual family members can pursue their own interests: a dedicated craft space, a family office, and a kids’ loft area. Aspens in Fall backsplash. The aspen trunks are made from porcelain tile and black slate. The lovely aspen leaves are all individually carved from beautiful, rare rust, green and honey onyx. Onyx soothes the stress of everyday life, bringing great grounding and harmony energies to this kitchen. A sweet glass butterfly rests on the wall above the cooktop and the downy woodpecker so common in Colorado, clings to the aspen tree at the right. All trees and aspen leaves are inlaid in the 4" x 4" travertine tiles to achieve a smooth, clean fit. Then all is sealed with a high-quality sealer and enhancer.

This open space makes you feel like entering into a movie scene. Large areas of black and white contrast, and smooth lines create a powerful aura. However, soft lights bring back a romantic atmosphere. The space is highlighted by vir-tuality and reality. The development of modern technology diversified people’s cognition and iden-tification of space dimension. The designer tries to break the inherent bound-ary consciousness among technology, humanities and nature by comfortable and efficient spatial perception. Wandering between virtual and real, light and shadow, the space presents a fu-ture sense through symbols. It shows a bold, free, open, lush, and new office format. As the previous office was in Chinese style with redwood furniture, in order to have good effect of the overall space, the designer discussed with the own-er repeatedly, strive to change into a modern style, which matches more with their products, clients, competitors, brand culture and temperament of the of-fice, younger staff, etc., in the end, this design shows up. This is a ring-shaped office space with same walls and same core tubes, which make people easily disoriented. By the principle of 5 elements - metal, wood, water, fire and earth, the designer placed the reception and exhibition room in the middle, and painted in yellow, corresponding to central earth. According to this principle, the R & D department on the east side is decorat-ed in green, corresponding to wood, also, the market and finance department on the south side is orange, corresponding to fire. Service department on the west is white color representing metal, CEO and QC office on the north side is given black color, representing water. 5 directions are painted in 5 colors, which make people clearly distinguish departments and directions. The building wall of the void area has a huge sloped beam, which causes poor visual experience. To solve this problem, the designer creates a magnificent X-shaped style by making use of the original beam structure. Its perforated sides and the luminous aluminum plates are very sci-fi, showing a similar vision of X-Men headquarters. The interaction, communication and intersection among people are the key points of designing moving lines. Their optimization brings closer collaboration among departments,shorten the distance that people have to walk in the space, such as in conference rooms, negotiation rooms, recreation area, water bar, reception area. Reasonable moving lines make discussion and communication between people, de-partments, and customers more efficient. At the same time, different spaces create different atmospheres and emotions, relax, or serious, or leisurable, etc., so as to meet needs of different moments.
