The wine cellar is comprised of our kit and custom wine racking. This wine room holds 3,500 bottles of wine and is doubles as a wine tasting area for entertaining guests. Our bin shelves are used for wine display case storage on either side of the room. The cabinets are stained in our Shaker Maple finish with lacquer and accented with a light, cream stone flooring, decorative lighting and artwork.

TWD was honored to remodel multiple rooms within this Valley home. The kitchen came out absolutely striking. This space features plenty of storage capacity with the two-toned cabinetry in Linen and in Navy from Waypoint, North Cascades Quartz countertops, backsplash tile from Bedrosians and all of the fine details and options included in this design.. The beverage center utilizes the same Navy cabinetry by Waypoint, open shelving, 3" x 12" Spanish glazed tile in a herringbone pattern, and matching quartz tops. The custom media walls is comprised of stacked stone to the ceiling, Slate colored cabinetry by Waypoint, open shelving and upgraded electric to allow the electric fireplace to be the focal point of the space.

The torii house is so named as the dwelling's architectural form resembles the traditional japanese torii gate, with its vertical pillars topped by a horizontal beam (roof), kept together by a tie-beam (2nd floor/ main floor ceiling) The deep overhangs further emphasize the expression of horizontality in contrast with the vertical nature of the surrounding tree stands that envelope the site. The design draws on the customary Japanese concepts of 'shakkei' (borrowed landscape) and 'hisashi' (deep eaves) to create a subtle relationship between the house and site. As a tactile and design aesthetic, the muted tones of the exterior palette helps to create an effective interface between the house and its surroundings. Set on a gently rolling landscape of prairie grass, one approaches the front entry via a transitional space consisting of a raised landscaped platform made of field rock gathered from the site. The generous main entry leads to a lineal arrangement of open living spaces comprising most of the ground floor with bedrooms on the second level that open on to large balconies in proximity to the tree canopy. Private Residence / Alys Beach, Florida Architect: Eric Watson Builder: Hufham Farris Construction Working with Hufham Farris Construction and architect Eric Watson on this beautiful and unique Alys Beach residence, we supplied a custom E. F. San Juan front entry door, custom interior windows for the wine cellar, custom exterior gates, exterior railings, exterior paneling and trim, and the magnificent Loewen® windows and doors that make a statement the moment you see the home. Challenges: Due to our limited production capacity in the wake of Hurricane Michael, providing custom millwork for this home was challenging, but our team was happy and proud to return to work after such a disaster. The primary challenge on this gorgeous 5,050-plus-square-foot residence designed by Eric Watson was the vaulted two-story wall of windows that comprises most of the facade. Another feature of this home is the incredible 600-bottle wine cellar on the first floor. Watson wanted this amenity to be a focal point for residents and guests, with large glass windows looking into the cellar from a hallway at the front of the house. Due to the delicate nature of wine and the need to protect the bottles from sunlight, this meant creating custom windows that would block the light while still allowing a view of the cellar from the outside. E. F. San Juan provided these custom windows that filter UV light and are airtight to keep out moisture and regulate the cellar’s temperature. Solution: We worked closely with our trusted partners at Loewen to supply the large, impact-rated windows for the home’s grand facade and throughout the property, along with exterior doors leading to the courtyard, balconies, and other outdoor living spaces. The E. F. San Juan team also created the accompanying millwork and matching exterior trim, railings, and more. Providing privacy, security, and beauty, the front entry door and driveway gates were also made by E. F. San Juan. This new-build home, completed in 2020, exudes the quintessential luxury and unique design acumen of Alys Beach. Named after a fun game, Hulahoop is the new family of tables designed by Alessandro Busana for Bonaldo. The name itself conveys the substantial aspects of the design: appeal and dynamism, summed up in a simple circular element developed in space. Hulahoop is characterized by a minimal table top and a frame comprising metallic rings which, owing to perspective, overlap one another, giving rise to a graphic pattern capable of rendering a dynamic image that changes every time depending on the viewpoint.
