This step-down family room features a coffered ceiling and a fireplace with a black slate hearth. We made the fireplace’s surround and mantle to match the raised paneled doors on the built-in storage cabinets on the right. For a unified look and to create a subtle focal point, we added moulding to the rest of the wall and above the fireplace. Sleek and contemporary, this beautiful home is located in Villanova, PA. Blue, white and gold are the palette of this transitional design. With custom touches and an emphasis on flow and an open floor plan, the renovation included the kitchen, family room, butler’s pantry, mudroom, two powder rooms and floors. The master bedroom features custom, built in wardrobes with cabinets and drawers in varying sizes. The red oak floor with the mahogany inlay continues in this room. What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA.. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. In a corner of the basement we created a play area. The nook has a shiplap wall, and tons of storage, from the reclaimed old heart pine shelves to the drawers beneath the seat. Welcome to this sports lover’s paradise in West Chester, PA! We started with the completely blank palette of an unfinished basement and created space for everyone in the family by adding a main television watching space, a play area, a bar area, a full bathroom and an exercise room. The floor is COREtek engineered hardwood, which is waterproof and durable, and great for basements and floors that might take a beating. Combining wood, steel, tin and brick, this modern farmhouse looking basement is chic and ready to host family and friends to watch sporting events! You enter this bright and light master bathroom through a custom pocket door that is inlayed with a mirror. The room features a beautiful free-standing tub. The shower is Carrera marble and has a seat, storage inset, a body jet and dual showerheads. The striking single vanity is a deep navy blue with beaded inset cabinets, chrome handles and provides tons of storage. Along with the blue vanity, the rose gold fixtures, including the shower grate, are eye catching and provide a subtle pop of color. Inspiration for a small contemporary one-story brick exterior home remodel in DC Metro

This couple purchased a second home as a respite from city living. Living primarily in downtown Chicago the couple desired a place to connect with nature. The home is located on 80 acres and is situated far back on a wooded lot with a pond, pool and a detached rec room. The home includes four bedrooms and one bunkroom along with five full baths. The home was stripped down to the studs, a total gut. Linc modified the exterior and created a modern look by removing the balconies on the exterior, removing the roof overhang, adding vertical siding and painting the structure black. The garage was converted into a detached rec room and a new pool was added complete with outdoor shower, concrete pavers, ipe wood wall and a limestone surround. 1st Floor Master bedroom Details: The master bedroom boasts picture windows and a custom desk with floating shelves made of white oak. -Bed from BlueDot -Pendant, Soco -Loveseat in the window, Eames replica -Desk chair, Article -Flooring is rough wide plank white oak and distressed

Right off the kitchen is a butler’s pantry. The dark blue raised panel cabinets with satin gold pulls and the white quartz counter correspond with the kitchen. We used mirrors for the backsplash and on the upper cabinets. And, of course, no beverage center is complete with a wine refrigerator!
