The Challenge: The original ceiling height was not consistent with the rest of the Master Suite and made the space feel extremely closed in. The layout did not allow for a sense of luxury and spaciousness. The Solution: Raising the ceiling and continuing the exposed beam element from the bedroom area visually expanded the space and connected the room to the rest of the Master Suite. Custom designed and crafted cabinetry increased the beauty of the space along with much needed storage. A new layout created the space needed to give the room both volume and function. The Result: A beautiful Master Bathroom that provides every opportunity to relax and enjoy the pleasures of a sophisticated well thought out bathroom.

Coast provides stylish relaxation, thanks to the continuous, enveloping line joining back and armrests, which makes for comfortable,informal sitting. Its slim, modest structure blends perfectly with the large, soft cushion on the seat. The sofa can be combined with a chaise-longue in the same style as the rest of the collection: a large, comfortable cushion, half surrounded by a slender structure closing it in. The pouffes in the Coast collection can be combined with the different sizes of sofa to increase their comfort. Some pieces can be used as single beds by turning the seat cushion over. The collection also includes an armchair and a series of sofas of reduced depth, allowing the comfort and elegant appearance of the Coast to be enjoyed even when space is limited.

Imagine a lazy morning in this casually elegant kitchen, sipping your freshly brewed coffee as natural light pours through floor to ceiling windows. Then imagine being in this kitchen sipping your morning coffee and gazing out at the beautiful rolling landscape of one of New England’s prestigious golf clubs. Imagine . . . The owner of this beautiful contemporary kitchen with its idyllic setting imagined ! And her kitchen designer captured her imagination and brought this inspired space to life in both style and function. Columns of stainless steel are balanced by columns with the warmth of birch wood with just a hint of stain. On an adjacent wall one more wood column rises from floor to ceiling. A strong horizontal line of cabinetry seemingly intersects the vertical columns. While contemporary in design, the cabinetry in this kitchen found its beginnings with the Shakers and the designers of the Craftsman period. Increasing the size of the framing on the doors, accenting the cabinet shapes with square-edged trim and blocks of wood at varying depths, thinly slicing and randomly sizing the natural stone on the accent wall, and choosing oversized stainless steel handles definitively bring this kitchen forward in time. Recycled glass countertops in a soft, quiet color continue to help this kitchen live so harmoniously with its surroundings. As the day unfolds and the lazy morning turns into ambitious meal preparation, it is clear that this kitchen is a chef’s delight. The stainless steel columns incorporate double ovens, a microwave and a steam oven. Two wood columns house a refrigerator and a freezer. The separate wood column reveals pantry storage, and a TV is hidden behind a lift-up door. On the island with its clean, rectangular shape two dishwashers flank the sink. Imagine ! how much more pleasant the task of clean-up is when you overlook the family living space and vista beyond. In the cook center, a complement of drawers provides excellent storage for pots and pans, utensils, spices and herbs around the 5-burner cooktop. A powerful vent with a rear exhaust maintains the horizontal design of the space. And the freshly-brewed coffee in the morning ? It comes from a built-in coffee maker that’s just around the corner from the refrigerator. Along with a wine refrigerator, it creates a beverage and serving center between the kitchen and the dining room. The homeowner envisioned a kitchen that is as beautiful as its surroundings. Her kitchen designer wanted her kitchen to be as functional as it is beautiful. Both agree that this kitchen lives up to their expectations!

The family room was transformed by removing the wall that previously separated it from the kitchen, creating a more open, connected, and functional layout. This structural change enhanced the flow between spaces, increased natural light, and established a seamless transition between the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The result is a brighter, more modern, and highly social environment. The space features continuous hardwood flooring, a fireplace feature wall as the architectural focal point, and custom built‑ins that provide both balance and storage. Warm tones, comfortable furnishings, and the new open layout make this family room the true center of the home—ideal for everyday living and family gatherings.

This immaculate home has increased square footage and value due to the new carriage house and additions. In order to keep in step with everything this prestigious home currently has to offer we have incorporated the carriage house. The carriage house has additional space in back through the double doors and we have matched the exterior of the main house perfectly with cedar shakes and exterior corresponding brick. Be sure to notice the custom carpentry on the ceiling, columns and crown molding as you view the picture of the beautiful breezeway. No detail will be left unnoticed as friends and family walk along the custom concrete creation from the carriage house to the main house. The classic new entryway is so welcoming as you enter the main house though the wooden framed glass doors continuing up the stairs to the main floor.

The layout of this early 90’s home was adequate for the husband when he was just living there. However, now the family of three and their loving cat live there together; the space quickly became confined and inadequate. The Clients contacted us to discuss what their options may be to help the home feel more spacious. After a few weeks of design and engineering, we went to work on opening up the first floor to increase the size of the rooms while creating continuity with the adjoining rooms. A once tired and confined layout became a spacious, comfortable, & aesthetically pleasing space to live and entertain.

Timeless materials such as soft green tiles, wood cabinetry, warm brass fixtures and black accents were combined with modern functionality to create a calm and spa -like retreat in this main bathroom renovation.
