This VIP Design Day project transformed two key spaces in a DC-area home — a dining room and powder room — into rooms that feel both curated and livable. The dining room balances warm walnut tones, mixed seating, and bold artwork against moody gray walls and classic wainscoting, creating a space that's elegant without being precious. The powder room makes a strong first impression with floor-to-ceiling botanical wallpaper, a navy reeded vanity, Calacatta marble countertop, and antique brass fixtures layered with vintage equestrian art. Design Firm - Lee Meier Interiors The patterns, colors and furniture plan all played important roles in this individualistic dining room. Moving the dining table to the back wall rather then the center of the room allowed the opportunity to add a long beautiful banquette with flanking bookcases. I turned the paper to be hung horizontal to get a more modern stripe and that coordinates well with the sheers. The unique dining chairs feature a Malachite patterned fabric with emerald mohair seats while the banquette has many different patterned pillows adding a nice warmth to the room. The two Shagreen bookcases give more space which dining rooms tend to lack to add personalized accessories and frames.

Our Hampton Farmhouse Dining Room Table 72" crafted from reclaimed teak wood that has been reclaimed from old buildings with a distressed lime wash finished. This farmhouse style dining table seamlessly combines the warmth and character of beautifully aged woods to the refreshing lines of parsons style tables. A protective finish of a dull water based lacquer retains the natural beauty of the aged wood. While the rustic style of each farmhouse dining tables remain the same, the old wood gives every reclaimed wood dining table its own unique characteristics. Dimensions: 72W x 36D x 30H Hand-crafted of Solid Reclaimed Teak Hand-finished with unique Lime Wash Water-based lacquers are used in the finishing process.
