For this project we had a contractor come to Ancient Elements Stoneworks (AES) looking for stone for a house he was flipping. When flipping a house there are several aspects to keep in mind, one it needs to be cost effective, two it needs to look great in the house, and three it needs to match what buyers are looking for. The experts at AES helped the contractor find material that was cost effective and was going to bring the house together.
This flip took place in a small house, so the stone needed to have character but not so much that it overwhelmed the entire house. This is what lead to the Tar Tan. This material brings in several different colors such as gray, blacks and browns. Lastly this material has enough movement to lead the eye throughout the kitchen. Overall, this kitchen turned out amazingly and the new homeowner is extremely happy with it.
