Looking to sell your home, consider home staging to target a higher selling price. Home Staging aims to de-personalize your home and make it appealing to virtually all prospective buyers. The way you live in your home and the way you market your home are two very different things. Your home is competing with every other home on the market. A home that looks like it needs work or isn't move-in ready prompts buyers to low-ball their offers, or eliminate your home from consideration all together. Those homes that are staged to reflect current trends attract and appeal to more buyers, resulting in more offers, faster sales, and higher sale prices. Sometimes, an agent may even recommend your price be increased once your home is staged! A well-staged home can even start a bidding war with multiple offers!

When Marcus A. of Golden, IL needed a solar panel system for his home, he knew he wanted the best quality and the most economical price. After research he chose Green Home Systems for their craftsmanship, performance and durability guarantees, financing options, and on time delivery promise.
The team at Green Home Systems began with an inspection of the roof to determine the size and type of solar panel system that would work best for Marcus' home. We installed a 5.04 kW grid tie-in system with Panasonic solar panels and a SolarEdge inverter. The flat roof was perfect for this type of installation which made the process easier and faster than expected.
Once the equipment was installed, we tested it thoroughly to ensure it was working properly and efficiently. We were able to complete the project within just one month which exceeded Marcus' expectations. He was very pleased with our craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the entire process.
Now that everything is up and running, Marcus is already seeing the benefits of his new solar panel system. He's locked in low energy costs and increased his home value at the same time! Plus he's doing his part for the environment by moving towards clean sustainable energy sources.
At Green Home Systems, we are dedicated to providing our customers with top quality service from start to finish. Our goal is to ensure that every customer has an easy and stress-free experience with their solar project. We are proud to have been chosen by Marcus as his solar provider and look forward to helping more customers in Golden, IL get started with renewable energy solutions!
Find the right local pro for your project

If there’s one thing Nelson, British Columbia is known for, it’s snow. Every year thousands of skiers and snowboarders flock to Nelson, located in interior BC, to get a dose of the area's famous fresh powder.
However, along with epic snow comes freezing temperatures. During the winter season, Nelson typically averages a low of 12 degrees Fahrenheit (-5 degrees Celsius) and a high of 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees Celsius.) When combined with the humidity the area usually receives in the winter months, these already freezing temperatures can feel significantly cooler.
Our customer took this into account when designing his Nelson-area home. The homeowner wanted to get the most out of the location and climate without spending a fortune on heating. With this in mind, a passive solar home was designed and constructed. This type of home is designed to harness, store and distribute solar energy in the winter to heat the home without the use of mechanical or electrical devices.
However, with average lows hovering around 12 degrees Fahrenheit, a little more was needed to take the bite out of the chilly air. Ultimately we determined our Prestyl Heating Panels would be a great way to add heat to this home. They transfer sun-like-warmth directly to people and objects and are zone-controlled, which allows the user to heat only the spaces they are using. Ultimately what this means is you can increase your comfort while decreasing your heating costs: A perfect solution for an environmentally-conscious/budget-conscious homeowner in a ski town.

Narrow spaces are dicey challenges. The space must flow to allow for the ebb and passage of we humans. It is not enough to think in straight lines. Sometimes juts and recess may affect our perception and usage of the space. Look within the fining room in the corner. There is one of the original house corner cabinets with a leaded glass design. We brought the design for unity into the kitchen. This willingness to bend a knee to the original architecture of the home increases the chances of success in smaller spaces. We may think each rom must be different however when done with ill thought, without any consideration for the rest of the house, the result more likely is a jarring sensation. Design well, seek beauty and quality. Jaeger and Ernst cabinetmakers believes in design and quality. Image # 21068.6 Photographer: Greg Jaeger

We have seen it all.
This house is gorgeous, with newly remodeled kitchen and family room addition, beautiful furnishings with lovely decor.
When the client's told us their owner's suite bathroom was scary we didn't believe them. Now, this space wasn't scary, but it definitely needed help.
One small vanity tucked away in a corner and duct tape holding tile up in the shower, to name a few of the issues.
After interviewing a few contractors, we moved forward with Integrity Remodeling & Design Group.
We completely changed the layout to have a double vanity, relocated the toilet to be able to remove a wall, and increase the shower size three times over. This time without the use of duct tape.
The homeowner's repurposed the furniture linen closet by re-painting and installing new hardware, making it a perfect cost-effective storage solution.
This space is not only timelessly beautiful it now matches the rest of the home's impeccable design.
