The beautiful shingle home was built several years prior, but progress stalled and the interior was never fully finished off, creating more of a weekend crash pad than second home. We had 4 months to fully furnish and accessorize the 4+ bedroom home before they hosted a large family reunion. We tackled a function problem first. The home, with its open floor plan, had multiple types of flooring, which only served to chop up the space. Worse, most of the flooring was cream carpet and not suitable for waterfront living. We replaced the mismatch with durable driftwood floors that will stand up to years of sandy feet and party spills. We selected and installed all the finishing touches - furniture, window treatments, accessories, bedding and art. And we beat our reunion deadline by a week, giving the homeowners a chance to enjoy it all to themselves before the guests arrived

We furnished this world traveler’s crash pad in a minimalist style. We layered neutrals and textures to create a space she could come home to and relax while in Vermont visiting friends and family. This condo is just steps to the waterfront and located in the trendy south end arts district.

This project had some special meaning to the home owner. She is a 2 time cancer survivor who won the toughest battle of her life in regaining custody of her daughter. Her experiences taught her the importance of cherishing the moments and living life to the fullest. This Nautical themed kitchen adorns a home that overlooks the Western Coast line of San Francisco. Customer Navy Blue cabinets represent the deep that lies just beyond the back yard while the Marble Starburst mosaic backsplash explodes with contrast. Simple and timeless subway tile wrap the perimeter of the kitchen...and how about those brass handles?! Enjoy the view of waves crashing when looking out the window from the farm style sink. Although the drastic change of colors and styles gave new life to this kitchen; the vintage mixer and bistro table made of re-purposed wood pay homage to things of the past.

This 4,500 sq. foot house is set on a spectacular coastal site overlooking the Yankee Point and the rocky Carmel coastline. The house is comprised of three volumes, each with a distinctive roof shape, and is organized around an outdoor courtyard that is screened from ocean breezes. This multi-zone playroom is a dream come true for a family with a teenaged boy and two tween girls! Homeowners chimneys were unused and in disrepair so we brought them down to the roofline, and capped them off. It's very important to address chimney issues sooner than later, as one of these clients chimneys came crashing down onto the roof in a wind storm!
