Conceived more similar to a loft type space rather than a traditional single family home, the homeowner was seeking to challenge a normal arrangement of rooms in favor of spaces that are dynamic in all 3 dimensions, interact with the yard, and capture the movement of light and air.
As an artist that explores the beauty of natural objects and scenes, she tasked us with creating a building that was not precious - one that explores the essence of its raw building materials and is not afraid of expressing them as finished.
We designed opportunities for kinetic fixtures, many built by the homeowner, to allow flexibility and movement.
The result is a building that compliments the casual artistic lifestyle of the occupant as part home, part work space, part gallery. The spaces are interactive, contemplative, and fun.

This bright and classic kitchen remodel transforms a formerly cramped and dark room, common in many of Seattle’s older houses, into an inviting heart of a home. Working with a timeless material palette, the Architect and their design team created a gracious space perfect for entertaining, cooking, and interacting with the adjacent rooms.
To maximize the square footage of this small kitchen, the team pulled back the walls around the existing basement stairs and added windows, giving the space a stylish and polished new look. This remodel shows how simple moves can increase the livability of a small kitchen while adding value to the home and enjoyment for the owners.

The renovation of this existing luxury house included the façade as a main element, and the whole interior space. Designed as a sculptural element, the volumes of the façade create a massing interaction framing scenic views of the private garden.

My unique, tropical metal painting is the perfect nautical metal accent to add excitement and intrigue to your decor. This handmade piece of original artwork features beautiful silver, brown and blue tones and will be that modern touch you've been searching for. My signature-defined hand textured intricacies and carvings into the metal capture and reflect surrounding light sources creating enhanced interaction with dramatic illusions of depth and 3D movement as viewed from different angles. Hang it in your living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, office, or outdoors. This abstract metal art will wow and impress your guests. Display under natural lighting or make this original artwork the show stopping centerpiece of any room with track lighting or gallery spot lights for dramatic effect. Lighting and other environmental factors interact with metal artwork in a unique, organic way.

One of our favorite transformations! Through good design, we transformed the corners of the old kitchen into usable space versus the complete dead space that was previously sealed off. We also created a seamless flow between the ceiling and the cabinets with taller custom cabinets. We added a bar countertop and opened up the wall to allow for more interaction between kitchen and dinning room space. Now you can enjoy the view of a beautiful kitchen from across the home because of its now more open design.

We create incredibly innovative high quality furniture, storage and play solutions for children.
Thinkterior products "evolve with you" allowing parents to adapt our products to match the age and size of their child, from toddler to teen.
The Thinkterior ecosystem is a community of functional items (play, storage, work) that interact and grow with the people that live in it.
myWall is at the heart of the Thinkterior ecosystem and provides the platform for the entire room to grow with a child.

Nestled in the surrounding hillside of Telluride Ski Resort, this mountain home was born from the idea of integrating a home in to it’s site and having it interact with the natural vegetation and impressive circling views. This did not come without design challenges, but the result was a rustic modern structure clad in steel, glass, wood, and stone.
Floor to ceiling glass walls lend to breathtaking views of Mount Emma, Dallas, and Iron Mountain. Transparency through the structure was very important to the clients as it allowed them to feel apart of the natural environment. You can see through the formal entry through the great room and out the back of the house. This created a spacious feel to the already open floor plan of the great room, dining room, and kitchen.
