This custom built-in serves as both architectural focal point and functional storage solution. Designed with fluted detailing and arched niches, the millwork introduces rhythm and depth while maintaining a refined, tailored presence. A rich, moody finish enhances the vertical texture, creating contrast against the surrounding walls and adding warmth to the space.
Thoughtfully styled open shelving showcases collected objects, books, and sculptural accents, striking a balance between curated and approachable. Integrated drawers below provide concealed storage, maintaining visual clarity while supporting everyday living. Brass hardware adds a subtle touch of sophistication, echoing the layered finishes throughout the room.
Framed by upholstered lounge seating and grounded by warm wood flooring, the result is a timeless statement piece that blends craftsmanship, functionality, and elevated design.

This vibrant sitting area layers color and form to create a bold yet balanced retreat. A blush velvet sofa introduces warmth and softness, while sculptural navy lounge chairs add depth and contrast. The dramatic abstract artwork anchors the room, drawing the eye upward and reinforcing the curated, gallery-like feel.
A rich marble coffee table grounds the seating arrangement, complemented by subtle patterned textiles and tonal drapery that frame expansive glass doors. Natural light pours in from the adjacent outdoor space, blurring the line between interior and garden and enhancing the room’s inviting atmosphere. The coral-toned ceiling adds an unexpected design moment, elevating the space with personality and confidence.
The result is a thoughtfully layered interior that feels artistic, modern, and effortlessly sophisticated.

Once installed I worked with the client for 2 hours to purge the excess and place the items with purpose. Now she loves "shopping" within her own closet.
